So what was the attendance?

First home game I have missed in a long while. Actually had a pretty good day on my own without bringing this disaster into my day. Curious though if Plati is claiming a sell out with everyone showing up.

Usually the start of the 2nd seems to be when we are at the max capacity any thoughts on how many were there?

No idea, but I was surprised that there were so many people there. Place seemed packed to watch a team full of school girls.

The weather was pretty nice for football, or at least it was down in Parker. Am kind of hoping to see a bad weather rainy snow mix for the Washington game. Would be surprised to see more than 20K in the stands for that one then. Hopefully the AD will take a huge hit in the wallet and start to get he picture.

The Denver Post's article says "less than half of the announced 32,000" were on-hand at the beginning of the 2nd Half, when Embree & Co's great halftime adjustments were demonstrated, resulting in the Buffs4Life Homecoming boo's.

I know the TV crews were having great difficulty selecting any 'kind' backdrop for their on-screen slates. Finally, end-zones were so clean and empty they looked pristine, and the production manager said, "Use that - maybe no one will notice those are seats - all shiny and clean." And empty.

I noticed that the game next Saturday against Arizona is on FX.....wow, must be slim pickings for Fox to choose from in that time slot.

Remind me (honestly, I haven't kept up with Arizona this season) - what does Arizona need to prove? Is a BCS standings in their future at this point? Will scoring 70 or 80 mean something in national headlines? Or will 40 or 50 do the same? Heck, I don't even know if they're capable of scoring more than 30 but since Stanford could, I assume everyone but the very worst programs in the history of football could against Embree's plans.

Arizona was blown out by UCLA last night. Earlier this week, there was speculation that they were in the driver's seat to win the south division. They will be pissed next Saturday. My guess is the line will be at least 35 points.

Ugh. Thanks. I think! ha ha... (Ya coulda probably let me dream on a li'l longer but, heck, might as well set my sights more appropriately!)

I thought it was pretty sparse. I would have left sooner, but I wanted my sis to see the cheer leader guy do his tumbling routine which he finally did before the 4th quarter.

Take her to a Broncos game. Oz performs there also.

Do you think an Alabama fan has ever said this about their gameday experience?

My god - this post is symbolic of the depths we have reached as a program.

+1, who ever thought the cheerleader tumble guy would be the main attraction at Folsom? Thanks Mike, great job wrecking a proud FB program.

Or anyone else in the SEC not named Vandy or Redtucky. How anyone in a leadership position can look at this and not be furious is beyond me. This admin can't even do academics right, ****ing idiots. Declining academic prestige and horrible football. That's something to hang your hat on Benson. **** you and DiStefeno. Worthless ****ing admins.

I would put the attendance at about 35,000 to 38,000 at its peak. I left early in the 4th Quarter. I don't mind supporting the team when they are trying but I draw the line when they quit. I wanted to see how Wood performed but it was obvious that not much was happening.

Cannot wait to see the attendance figures for the RMS next year, especially if Embree is retained. Might as well move it to Dicks Sporting Goods Park if it must be at a neutral site.

I was pretty miserable watching the Stanford game on TV until my buddy texted the pictures of the paperbag protest dummies. I spent the rest of the game fixated on the tv screen with my thumb on pause looking in the stands for those two inanimate occupants hanging out in my seats.

There should be more of these at the next game.

It was impressive that the fans respected them the entire game.

That might still be too big.

I took this picture not too long after halftime. This is why I have been saying that Embree is going to get fired because of the final home game blowouts. Notice how much more heat there has been this week after this week's home game.

Wow, we should send some of those photos to the AD and Benson/DeSteph with a simple subject line of "Look what you let happen".

Wow that pics says it all. More fans were in attendance for the scrimmage two years ago...sad but this is needed. I'm glad I was wrong about the fans.
