Embo still here. Signing off, but not until I say, Hirschman, bad AZ D or no, is so much better than Webb it isn't even funny. I am starting ot hink Embo just wanted "his guy" at the helm, even if it was a failed KU retread.

C'mon Lefty.

From whom, exactly, are you expecting to hold the broom that would do this sweeping?

Anyone authorized to carry the broom of change at CU is rather good at making a mess, not cleaning one up.

Wait you expected changes to be made before the season is over? Changes will be made once the season is over

Don't kid yourself, there won't be any real changes made then either. And token assistant changes don't count.

If your definition of "real changes" includes a new head coach and athletic director, then I agree with you that we won't see that. However, I still maintain that there will be notable movement in the coaching staff. Probably not enough, but significant nonetheless.

I think JE will be back but I don't see either coordinator being back, Rip will probably be gone, Tui will probably be gone, Cabral needs to be let go, and I'm sure some others.

Don't disagree that one coordinator will be gone, possibly 2. But apparently we have different definitions of significant.

I don't necessarily disagree with any of that. But as for any of that making much of a difference, I don't see it.

Fair enough. I certainly view the replacement of two coordinators and possibly other position coaches significant under just about any circumstances, though again, it may not yield the desired results. Subject to interpretation so reasonable minds can differ.

Embree is going to fire over half the staff but will be coming back? Sorry don't see that.

Get another team .....

to root for. This car wreck at CU has not run its course. Anyone expecting CU AD to take productive action to improve the program with any type of urgency hasn't been watching these clowns for the last eight years.

Personally, always been partial to aTm.

Are you also partial to jacking it into a jar filled with hundreds of your best friends "product"?

The season was over 10 minutes into the Fresno game.
Yes, yea is was. And Wisconsin and their national title hopes squandered with the non-conference loss to OSU. They did not hesitate to fire their OL coach on the spot. This week they dropped 62 points on Illinois.

Brown is gone, and his defense plays like a Jr HS squad, counting missed tacles for this bunch is like watching a slot machine roll, and its not the kids, its the coaching. Now for the bad news, EB isnt going anywhere, If they wont buyout Embo they sure as hell will not buyout EB either. Don't forget he has one of the get out of jail free cards.

We're gonna have a ton of staff turnover this offseason. I could see 5 new AC's. And assuming Embree fails in '13 and is hopefully fired, these players are going to experience a lot of turnover in a short time

Yep. They're gonna get rid of all the non-Buffs. They'll either leave for better opportunities or get fired as scapegoats for what's going on.

Safe: Embree, Bieniemy, McGhee, Cabral.

god, none of htem should be safe. Especially over Tui.

I'd be fine with all of them gone. Since that's not happening, I'd like Kanavis around, think he'll be a good one with time. If they bring in some coordinators and still get no results next year, clean house and start over.
