FWIW: From 247sports.com

I believe this was from the folks at the "main site's" rumor board as opposed to the Colorado site that AZ runs. Can't speak for the credibility of those folks but I don't think this is an AZ thing this time.

That's correct. The 247 rumor board is from the 247sports.com main system, not AZ's board.

I still think it is interesting. Is AZ not the main contact for Colorado?

I'd love to see AZ drop in on that one and tell everyone the 247 mainboard rumor poster people have no idea what they're talking about.

Wait, so you are telling me some obscure media outlet is reporting that the head coach of the worst team in college football has a chance at being fired? Wow what a freaking shocker of a headline!

Don't take this from me.

Only when Embree and Hagan feed him info. Otherwise, he doesn't get much that anyone else doesn't have.

I think it is my inclination towards optimism but I am trying to read something good into that. If they have any source better than we do that Embree could be gone that is better than what most of us have been thinking (i.e. virtually no risk he is gone).

Furthermore many of us have been uncertain about whether the AD and JE would dump or demote EB if JE stayed around due to allegiances and the 5 year contract.

Not breaking any new ground here, but if you acknowledge that both coordinators are doing a bad job and need to be replaced after 2 years - how in the world does the head coach not share in the blame for bringing in two stinkers?

I feel like replacing two coordinators and keeping Embree would only further solidify our reputation as a clueless laughing stock.

I would love to see Tedford in Boulder. Change of scenery for him would do wonders. Knows the Pac12, good recruiter, good offensive mind. Sign him up Bohn.

I am leaving for Cabo on Thursday and plan to have no access to the internet until I return. When I land back in Phoenix the following week I expect to see that JE has been fired.

I'll take it a step further, it has been discussed that Embree may keep his job at least in part because of his race (can't give the white coach 5 years and fire the black coach after 2). Now we have the worst offense and defense in the country, yet it seems to be a foregone conclusion that Brown (a white coach) will be fired, while Bieniemy (a black coach) may be retained. Will the same folks pressuring CU to keep Embree because of the race issue be up in arms over that decision?

Edit: was meaning to quote JWP303, not sure I can correct now.

What OC or DC worth a **** would want to come here and work for a coach who will most likely be fired before the end of next season? I don't want some ambitious wanna be HC, we need a real HC and that person can pick his staff.
