"This game kind of summarizes the year, close, but still have a ways to go.”

The thing that saddens me the most is that Embree is turning into Dan Hawkins with his behavior and public statements.

We weren't even close to Idaho's coveted 119th spot in the UPS rankings. I would have killed to be 119th.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the crowd. It's getting closer to empty, but still more work to be done.

If someone like Ringo can summarize the season tomorrow as epic fail then they are on the Ad payroll. This was the only game all year we deserved to win.

It's in the " We don't know what the hell we're doing" handbook.

Better be some new asst coaches coming in here, they can't possibly so damn stupid to repeat the hawk scenario.

Today's game certainly was close, and it did fall in line with a couple games this year. The Buffs had a chance to tie or win the game at the end. That ending was not unlike the CSU game, or the Sacramento State game - both which ended as losses. It was also similar to the Washington State game - in which the Buffs actually came out on top.

But today's game was completely and totally unlike every other game on the schedule, where the Buffs were beaten like a rented mule.

It was also like the Cal and WSU games last season

I agree. This game was competitive even with the turnovers and coaching mistakes (kicking to their return man).

He tells me everything I need to know when he says that they said that they wanted to make sure and cover the kickoff after Mosley returned it...and they totally blow the coverage and Utah returns it for the deciding score. He said the same thing during the ASU game after Colorado had the great ending to the first half. He said they knew they had to make sure to cover the kickoff and ASU returned it for a score instead. All we need to know about this coaching staff. They know the exact plays that are crucial to momentum and totally **** them up!

Maybe next year we can hope to be competitive with CSU, Sac State and Fresno State. Pathetic.
