Ringo has one thing wrong....

Read on Rivals that Ringo has stated (somewhere) that JE had agreed to changes on both sides of the ball.

Have it from a very good source that those changes did not include offensive coordinator. His plan was to fire Cabral and Brown, and that Rip would leave on his own accord. JE wanted to bring in a new QB coach with spread option experience. That was his plan, and that plan was correctly deemed as unlikely to be enough to turn this frigate around.

FWIW.

I wish more would come out about what changes Embree proposed. It does not sound like he was willing to address half the problems with the team.

Whoops! Guess he was supposed to be a little more omniscient! Can't believe he took the athletic director at his word!

Kyle, is that you?

On one hand, you have a point. On the other hand, he had an easy out and could have cited the direct quote. He didn't have to adopt it as his position.

I should add that I kind of like Ringo... But I don't necessarily think he is among the most reliable local beat writers. Troy Renck, now that guy is reliable.
