Embree vs Tebowmania

This whole situation is starting to feel like when the Broncos signed Manning. Tebow fans were pissed and very vocal. I'm hoping our new coach comes in and does the same thing Manning did. You don't hear too much from the Tebowmaniacs anymore.

Bohn has to make a splash with this coaching hire though or else the media will destroy the AD.

Unfortunately they're already trying their best to do just that.

As much as I wanted Tebow gone at least his supporters could point to the standings and say the team was winning. Had the team been 4-21 under Tebow his supporters would have had a harder time making an argument, although many still would have tried.

Embrees supporters will continue to back him but the evidence to support them is dangerously thin.

Kicking CSU and Central Arkansas' teeth in next season will shut those people up pretty quickly. Especially if we do it with new offense and defensive schemes.

All they can come up with is "he only got 2 years" and "he didn't have the proper resources", but there's solid rebuttals to both of these arguments.

Doubt it. They'll claim it was only possible due to the foundation that Embree laid. And if CU loses those games, they'll claim that the program is in worse shape with the new guy than it was with Embree.

All I am going to say on this topic is that I am looking forward the day, hopefully very soon, when the name Embree doe snot appear on any of the threads in this forum.

JE had his chance. He failed. End of story. Onward and upward.

Go Buffs and Go Bohn, get us someone good.
