The good: 20-8 record in two years as the Boston College head coach and led them to the #10 ranking at the end of the 2008 season. Solid NFL pedigree including time as an offenseive coordinator.

The bad: Was fired by BC despite his success there (although you cant really blame him for why he was fired), was subsequently fired as the offensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Bucaneers before ever coaching a game there, was subsequently fired after just one year as the head coach of a UFL team, and now it appears he's been out of caoching for the past two years.

Why can't you blame him for why he was fired? It was entirely within his control and he showed pretty poor judgement.

He was fired from BC because he went and interviewed with the NY Jets after he was explicitly told he could be fired if he did that.

Which was lame on BC's part.

Not sure of his West Coast roots but I do think he is qualified to run a BCS program.

He also had Matt Ryan as his QB during those two years. I think one of the east coast posters gave numerous reasons why he's not desirable awhile back.

I find him objectionable because I never want to tune in to KOA and hear: "Welcome to the Coach Jagodzinski show"....

Which was lame on BC's part.

The rumors at the time were that he wanted out of the college game. He had done little to no recruiting that fall, and figured he was destined for an NFL job, that's why he didn't pay attention to the AD's warning.
