Chris Petersen to Arkansas?

Hmm, how much is he getting? So much for Boise to the Pac12. They'll go back to mediocrity after he leaves.

That would be surprising. I could see him at Berkeley, but not Arky.

He can't go to Arkansas! He has a mouth full of teeth, he'd never fit in with the fans in down there!

God I hope so, so sick of Boise being good. Of course everybody thought they would fall apart after the last two coaches left there.

I'm just ready for some hires to be made, even if they aren't Colorado. Surprised there has not been more smoke out there.

The AD behind Boise State's rise was forced out last year amid NCAA violations. I would not underestimate the effect of his departure will have on the school. Boise State is on the NCAA's radar and won't get away with things like they did in the past.

Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier, the man behind the iconic blue turf at the school's football stadium and credited with a large role in the team's rise to national prominence, has been let go as the school faces sanctions because of violations in the football program and other sports. University president Bob Kustra announced Wednesday that Bleymaier's career of 30 years at the school will end Sept. 8 2011.
