Wisco coach to Arkansas. Jones to meet? (Speculation re: Jones)

specualting....he is a midwest guy...Purdue wants him....why not Wisco....sounds like he has not chosen Cu / Purdue either

I get the feeling that CU won't let the offer to Jones stay open past tonight. Jones accepts sometime today or CU moves on. So waiting for Wisconsin to call would be the same as a rejection.

I tend to think something similar. Not sure you can sit around for Butch. At the very least you tell him that his offer stands, but that CU is going to continue to interview other candidates.

I don't like this feeling...Madison is up there with Boulder plus Wisconsin fans have supported their football team pretty well.

It's possible that Jones might not want any part of rebuilding and some coaches are like that so you can't use that against him.

Wiscy will go after Chryst at Pitt or the NIU guy that just went to NC State. They don't want to mess with that formula.

Wiscy job is a no win one. If you do anything short of a miracle, which has been the last few years, you will have failed.

You can't fail at CU right now. Anything at all will look like a great job done.

And if you're Jones, can you really feel good about taking over programs that have been handed over to you on gold platters? Time for this guy to show what he's made of and rebuild something that has everything going for it.

hopefully just the environment of Colorado did it....Like MAC says.....selling Colorado is the easy part.....
