Lunardi- bracketology

3 seed - Arizona
9 seed -Cal
10 seed - Oregon
12 seed - UCLA & maybe Stanford

CSU - 12 seed
Bailer - 8 seed

No way in hell the Pac-12 is getting 5 or 6 teams in. 4 is the best case scenario.

Cal had better beat Creighton in Berkeley in their next game if they want to be serious.

down to 3

Actually, down to 4. MWC and A-10 are at 5 & 6 ahead of the SEC and Big 12.

Pac-12 is setting up as a 5-bid league this year, but today is HUGE.

Oregon hosts 6-2 Nebraska
Arizona hosts 7-0 #5 Florida
Cal hosts 9-1 #16 Creighton

Other games that the conference better not lose:

Arizona State hosts 2-6 Dartmouth
Stanford hosts 1-5 UC-Davis
USC hosts 2-7 UC-Riverside
Washington hosts 0-7 Jackson State
UCLA hosts 5-5 Prairie View A&M

Other games CU cares about:

Kansas hosts 7-2 Belmont
Dayton hosts 5-4 Florida Atlantic
Fresno State hosts 4-6 UC Irvine
Hartford travels to 2-6 Rice

So, is real time rpi wrong?

That's where I just looked. Maybe it's different because it's not up to date for those who aren't paying for the vip membership? Or maybe it was a new update this morning.

must be the VIP thing cause on mine ACC is still 4

Yeah, weird.

It show that that ranking list that bcs linked was from Thursday. Right under that time stamp, it says that its updated every 5 minutes.

I guess they should change the name of the site to "real time RPI if you pay for it."

Hey! I got Cal right!

And no, no parlay for this guy. I struck my once every 10 years betting win on the CU-Wazzu game this year (which I still have to collect on!)

I know better than to bet my money, but I'll be back next week to bet yours for you next week!

Lunardi updated his bracket on the 8th. This is his third update since the initial preseason one. We were not on his pre-season bracket or the first update Nov. 6th. We made our first appearance on the Dec 11th update with a 7 seed. Still a 7 seed on this latest update.

Ucla 8 seed
Oregon 10 seed
Colorado 7 seed
Arizona 1 seed

8/9 seeds are the worst, but it sure beats not being "in". Plenty of time to improve that (or drop a little lower). Give me 11 over 9 any day

Yeah, Washington isn't making it considering their remaining schedule (Zona, Oregon, UCLA all twice), not with that loss to Utah. I realize that also raises the opportunity for big wins, but this year's UDub team just doesn't do it for me.

Doubt Zona will be a 2 when all is done. JMHO.

Jerry Palm has CU as a #9 seed as well, but on the bubble. Arizona as a #1 seed, Oregon #4, UCLA #7.

Other teams of note: Wyoming and CSU as #8 seeds but also both on the bubble.

UCLA is a team I would not want to run into in the tournament.

Still not sure I buy that they're ever going to really "click", but certainly the possibility is there. Assuming they continue to hover in the 7 seed range (and that's quite likely) that's going to be one rough "Third" Round matchup for a 2 seed.
