2013 Starting QB?

Anyone want to give me their % chances on the day 1 starter next year?

Here's my wild ***** guess...

Webb 5%
Hirschman 30%
Wood 30%
Dillon 30%
Dorman 1%
Liufau 3%
Other (Transfer/JUCO) 1%

Several of these guys have been here for years now, and thanks to a revolving door of offenses, I really have no idea of who can play or not.

I feel like Webb has gotten his shot. Hard to play a guy who would likely blow past the all-time losses by a QB record. Hard to see Dorman making a move or a true Frosh playing. A grad transfer or JUCO seems unlikely considering the #s at the QB position. I've got to think it's a 3 man race between Hirsch, Wood and Dillon at this point.

Dillon 25%
Transfer 20%
Hirschman 25%
Webb 0%
Liufau 20%
Dorman 5%
Wood 5%

Wood hasn't won a starting job since high school and his skill set doesn't suit the pistol/spread: 0%
Dorman ran the pistol some in high school and was a man among boys in lower-level Texas ball, but I'm not blown away by his footwork, reads, or release: 5%
Webb has had his shot, but will get another look in Spring: 10%
Liufau is a stud and will thrive in the pistol, but he'll likely have to wait a year to seriously enter the equation: 10%
Hirschman probably enters Spring as #1 and could win it, but he'll have to hold off Dillon: 25%
Shane Dillon will win the job in Spring. He has a quick release, makes good reads (which was a big reason he was an Elite 11 QB), good feet, great height, good pocket awareness, and throws well on the run. He ran a pro-style offense in high school, but I expect his switch to the pistol to be pretty seamless. 50%

I hate to say it, but I think people are underestimating Webb's chances to be the starter on game 1.

who knows? I want a QB that is tough as nails, runs like a deer and as smart as Manning/Brady, and can throw the ball like Montana/Elway. Oh just caught up dreaming... I think Dillon wins it and Sefo pushes... We have already seen what everyone else can do:cry:

50% Shane
49% Sefo
1% others

It's going to be a great year for Colorado with the top two on this list leading CU back to it's glory days. I gave Shane the #1 spot for the Spring, but Sefo will give him the run for that spot when he arrives on campus. We've seen the top three from last year and throwing the ball was not their specialty, pro-style or pistol.

Shane has experience on the scout team running a more spread offense and hopefully put on some weight, cuz he'll be running it more than he planned.

I was watching some of Sefo's film and the kid is big and can run if he needs to...Shane looked less comfortable doing that.

Dillon 60%
Sefo (probable redshirt) 30%
Hirshman 10%
Wood 10%

Id say its Dillon's if he takes it. You don't need a scholly to prove u can play, just opportunity. Shrock will get a look, fine with me.

Would not surprise me to see Schrock and Dorman transfer, webb would possibly just pull a Burnett and quit, sure make it easier on the coach
