Ok - so we fared not so well on the road in our last top-10 match up, that against a team that has now lost a game and is ranked 3 spots behind Arizona in both poles. The guys at PGU have nick-named this Zona squad "The Avengers" as they are out to beat everyone they lost to last year, and so far they've been successful. The Buffs as reigning Pac-12 Champs who beat Arizona twice last year including in the the Pac-12 title game to take the inaugural Pac-12 championship represent, the biggest target in Pac-12 for the WildCats. At 10 - 2 the Buffs are no slouch but it will be interesting to watch how the team (and especially Spencer Dinwiddie) reacts to the atmosphere in McKale tonight. The Game Tips at 6pm MT

Vegas currently has Arizona as an 11.5 point favorite in the game.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought about was the game tonight. Too many hoops games in a season for it to feel the same way as a football gameday used to feel, but more anticipation than any football gameday this year.
 
We were better than Arizona last year. About even, but slightly better.

Have they improved so much more than we have?

More, for sure, but so much that we should expect to get rolled? Absolutely not.

The key tonight is to challenge every shot without fouling them. Zona's got a great shooting team this year. But they're not a great rebounding team. Force some misses, clean the defensive glass, turn it into some transition points, and get some 2nd chances on the offensive glass. That's the winning formula tonight. And that makes this a good matchup, because those are the exact things that our Buffs excel at doing.
 
I agree Nik, but watching them play Florida was watching two teams that are much better then us. Hopefully we come to play, but I'm scared for this one.
 
The thing that scares me is how bad we've been on the road this year. It's weird saying "bad" when the two teams we've lost to are a combined 24-1, but I say that in comparison to the home and neutral court games. There's no doubt in my mind we can play with this Arizona team and I really think we'll beat them again this year in Boulder. I just know Tucson is a very tough place to play and I really don't want to watch an Allen Field House round 2. This team's beatable, it just depends on which CU team comes to play. Arizona's going to come at us just like we went at Baylor....for revenge.
 
Ok, the journey begins, I'm feeling like buffnik, I believe that Tad and Co. are a team of DESTINY.... At DIA, land in Phoenix at 3, then cruise to Tucson....GO BUFFS!!!

We'll get smooshed tonight, but that is ok. Maybe 5 teams in the country wouldn't get smooshed, and even possibly hope to win.
 
I see this is on ESPNU. Any chance this game is being streamed any place else? On vacation and our place doesn't get ESPNU. :-(

Looks like you can see it on espn3 if your vacationing on the west coast otherwise blacked out
 
Can't complain so far. Zona looks a bit out of sync and the Buffs are pretty much knocking down their good looks.

Great job on the glass, too.
