We've offered, but the kid is really high on USC. His dad went to Stanford, so that's another team to watch for if they come in.

Right now, it sounds like he's a bit of an undersized center who can shoot from the perimeter, but he's young so many think he'll bulk up and become a guy who can guard centers on defense. ESPN says that he needs to work on his post-up game.

Have to keep in mind how young these guys are. Fitzner just finished his sophomore year, so he's only 15 or 16 years old. His body will likely change a lot between now and the 2+ years before he hits a college campus.

Adam:

"They think I would fit into their style of play very well and I also think I would fit into their style pretty well because it is a faster pace style of play," Fitzner said of the Buffs. "I watched them a lot last year before they contacted me and I really like the way they play. I know they won the Pac-12 Tournament so that was pretty cool.

"I think Colorado has a really good program. I haven't been up there to see the school but the coaches I have talked to have all been really nice to me. It is a good school."

Adam also points out that he plays on the same AAU team with fellow CU targets Casey Benson and Jack Williams.

winning the PAC:12 tournament was huge for us. It is going to pay rewards for us for a couple of years at least. Another strong showing would do wonders and if we could somehow win the PAC:12 tourney again would have nearly immeasurable rewards.

Evan getting a little exposure, seems like he is starting to really assert himself as a top PF/C of the westcoast. I hope we land him and another 6'9+ for the '14 class.

Fitzner now has offers from Oregon State and Cal and is definitely getting a lot of buzz as a scoring big man. I'd really like to land him, but most of the Pac12 should be involved in this one before it's all said and done.

This kid is going to have a ton of offers when it's all said and done. He's VERY skilled for a big man and would be a huge get.

He plays so, so, so much smaller than he is.

Yeah, the Center tag is more than a little misleading, but if he can learn to fight in the post at all, a kid with that kind of size and skill level can be very effective, especially in the college game.
