So do we have a consensus on MacIntyre's nickname?

Coach Mac already taken by our great former HC cum social crusader.

So what is the new shorter version? I can't type Coach MacIntyre regularly, with arthiritis setting in and all...

BTW, HCMM sounds too much like something a KStater would use. Thoughts?

No consensus.

Let's just save a lot of time and go with M2. You can use this in place of first and last initials or as Mac2 (second Mac.)

El Guapo.
LOL!

In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!

As Buff fans, we have a duty and reputation to uphold when it comes to cleverness and humor. Simply taking a name and abbreviating it defeats the true comedy of a nickname. A nickname has to call out a characteristic of who you are, or what you look like. When it doesn't, it backfires.

For example, A-Rod. This is a weak nickname. In fact, his entire career persona of being a douche could have been avoided had he embraced the nickname Centaur (he has a painting of himself as a centaur).

If there are any Knicks fans who read Posting and Toasting, you would know former coach Mike D'Antoni is called Pringles. Why? He looks like the guy on the Pringles box. It's simple. Effective. Clever.

You've reached the pinnacle of your career when you self-nickname yourself something ridiculous and everyone applauds. Such as Kobe's Black Mamba. Hats off to Mamba. He went there, and we followed.

Mike Mac, Mac2, or whatever banal abbreviation of Mike MacIntyre is off limits to Buff fans. Go with who he is. Does he look like a Senator? Yes. Those are the types of areas we need to explore here.

Thank you

TunaMac borrows a reference from his understudy days with Parsons. I like it.

MM is the easiest to type.
