Who are they? Henderson in the dp said according to HCMM 2 players will "probably" medically redshirt this year due to concussions?

Kyle Washington?

The article mentioned Powell as a possibility. Man that would be horrible

I guess MacIntyre said Orms wasn't one. Are we not supposed to link dp articles?

I would guess the vast majority of the team had a concussion during the season. Not being cute, but I had concussions just playing HS ball. Given the greater size, speed and athleticism of CFB, I would guess most get one during the year. The trick is telling the serious ones from the not so serious.

Perhaps. But I think people are discussing players who missed games due to concussions. I thought Vigo missed the next game after his big WSU performance due to a concussion, but I can't recall.

Also need to remember that Embree was extremely cautious when it came to concussions

Maybe some posters need a RS year because of concussions....

I think Vigo, Topou, Orms, KWash and Pow Pow all had concussions that resulted in missed time. Jordan Webb did too, I think.

If anyone has talked more **** around here than me, it's you. and in half the posts. I think you should be proud.

as an ex-lawyer, i'm no longer compelled to bloviate excessively. i can be churlish and snarky concisely.

Is there such a thing, more accurate might be a recovering lawyer, or rehabilitating lawyer.

you can link them we just stopped carrying their articles when they partnered with righthaven to start suing people like us.

My uninformed guess tells me that Vigo is one of them. He had at least two last year, possibly three.

The coaches over-used Powell last season, plain and simple. I said so at the time, so no sour grapes here.

What is a clear definition of concussed anyway? I've heard a variety. If its anytime u get your bell rung a bit, good grief. I do agree with the Pow getting too much work. He toted it quite a bit for somebody that hasn't done much of that and he is a physical back.

I agree that his workload was sometimes excessive but had he not been moved to tailback he would have been the primary blocking back and been even more prone to concussion. Howard Griffith who was the Broncos FB stated that by todays standards he would have sat more than played. His blocking responsibilities meant that virtually every play he had a violent collision with a defender, normally a bigger defender than him. Going on he said that he had concussion symptoms for weeks on end but still played, it was part of being a FB.

All that said I hipe that Pow isn't one of the RS candidates. I also hope that an off-season let's him get healthy and that he can go into next season healthy. Also that the coaches can work with him to modify his running style to reduce the solid shots he takes and reduce his wear and tear.
