Chucky was recognized today as the WBB player of the week for her outstanding performance in the sweep of the Oregon schools this weekend. Congrats Chucky!!

Well deserved. She filled up the stat sheet in those 2 games and was the catalyst for making sure the Buffs didn't stub their toe in these.

Very cool. Does Chucky have a chance at an All-American bid? Lord knows she deserves it.

Two double doubles should have made her Pac 12 Player of the Week.

I agree she deserves consideration as an All American, but I haven't seen her mentioned. She was All Pac 12 last year and will be again this year.

I don't know if CU is respected enough for Chucky to get All American honors. We've only had one All American in women's basketball. That team's highest rank was #2. That team won the Big 8 regular season championship undefeated and the Big 8 tournament. That gets noticed. By that time, Coach Barry was a highly respected coach and received consideration for Coach of the Year.

Once you've taken Griner plus maybe that guard from Baylor, the girl from Delaware, and then looked at UConn, Notre Dame, Duke and Stanford... you're getting fairly deep into your 2nd Team AAs. We've got to get the program up to Top 10 level before our players get legit consideration.

:stupid: This is where we need to be to get an All American. It's where we were when we had an All American.
