This post got me thinking about the game and what the general take is? Do we win? Lose? what score?

I think we lose, we come out Flat Zona jumps on us and leads by 10+ the whole way.

Arizona 81-69

Cu 83 az 80

Edit: Hey that's 1000. Damn Allbuffs and its productivity killing powers.

Wow you'd think Arizona is a dominant team or something looking at these predictions

83-67 Buffs

I'm worried about our consistency, but methinks many people on here aren't familiar with the 'real' Arizona we've seen this year.

I'm not worried about consistency at home all that much. I think UA's is going to be shocked with how loud it is and how full it will be, kind of like CSU.

The difference is Arizona doesn't typically shy away from the big time atmospheres. However, my reasoning for this game is they simply aren't as good as people give them credit for.

Have they played in that type of atmosphere this year? It looks like Miami or Clemson would be the toughest atmosphere so far. I'm with you though, their 20-3 record is very deceiving. Top 25 team? Sure. Could be argued for top 15.

I'm having a really hard time seeing this team coming out flat, even more so after Spencer's comments.

Arizona can be ridiculously good if they put out the effort, but for some reason they tend to coast along in games until their backs are against the wall.

Clemson in early December is still in football mode.

They played Miami in Honolulu while the Canes were banged up

They've been to 3 gyms with varying degrees of hostility -- Oregon, Arizona State and Washington.

Arizona won't shy away from the moment.

This is going to be a fight.

they played @ Washington, which is one of the most hostile places in the PAC:12 (definitely top 3) but the keg get really hot, the altitude makes it harder to breathe and the student section should be out of control. I'm excited.

CU 70
UA 65

Nerves concern me but I am expecting a big game from Spence and XJ with some timely buckets by Jelly and Dre...and who knows what'll happen if Ski is hitting his shots.

Hence my post 16 of this thread

CVille, I agree that Arizona isn't as good as people rate them - sort of. This year has been weird. Miami or Michigan State might be the best team in the country right now, and both went through a stretch when it was questionable that they were even Top 25. Everyone's been losing. In a season like this, the body of work and consistency Arizona has shown rightly place them in the Top 10 and probably land them a 2- or 3-seed in the Dance. They don't have any major holes, they've got quality talent and depth. What I think is missing is that ability to be dominant. They're not quite there. But they do kind of remind me of Chauncey's Pistons team that won a title. If they gear up the defense the fact that they're very good at all 5 spots could elevate them even without an explosive superstar.

i think 9th is a very fair spot for them.Great comparison to Chauncey's pistons. They'll show up to play tomorrow, I'd be shocked if they didn't . I just question what their "full gear" is... But it certainly may be coming any night now. But for now, their lack of showing dominance, and downright vulnerability at times -- they have 3 home losses if you include the CU robbery, and Utah only lost by 3 in Tucson as well. I don't know that we need a spectacular, 'game for the ages' aka Texas 2011 to beat these guys. Play good, solid basketball, and this can be a W.

76-70 UofA. Arizona makes 4 points off CU fouling at the end. I think it will be a 2point game at the one minute mark.

Buffs 68 UofA 64. This game has me nervous as hell. I was much more confident last week about it, but I think Ski finds his shot and it carries us to victory. Plus trust me we will be drunk pumped up and give Arizona hell as a student section they have not seen before. #rolltad
