Where was Stalzer?

Now that the 24 hours has passed, it is fair to say that he was killed by a drone strike after shooting Mindy McCready in the head.

So being sick is now under the 24hr rule? This is getting out of control, those sites now must hold this important info to get our money? ****ing stupid.

I think that it was posted on rivals put it under the 24 hour rule. It was us posters here that made it seem like some breaking news.

+1. There is no work product being protected here. There are no scouting reports or calls to prospects. Reporting that a guy has the flu or a cold is hardly protected information. I think game times and scores are reported on the pay sites as well - perhaps we should withhold those for 24 hours too.

Rivals was the only one who reported it and the person who reported it is a site admin thus it is premium content. Chill out.

1. We have to be very careful with injury/health reports. That's the big thing that the SID goes nuts over when wrong.
2. If Will didn't tweet it and no one else had it, then it is scoopage by the Rivals board.
3. Balance that against how stupid our fan base can be with wild speculation on why a player may not be at a game.

In this case, I think it was better to nip the speculation in the bud. It wasn't major scoopage and Adam would likely agree with me that it's better to avoid the speculation while his site gets a bit of pub for having the info first versus leaving it an open question unless you have a Rivals sub.
