All-Colorado pick a junior who is starting to generate some buzz. Thinking he is a player that could blow up during the Spring Evaluation period.

The trend of losing our top in-state OL needs to stop. CO has churned out some good ones and we've missed the boat. Go get em Mike Mac!!!

Picked up offers from Oregon and Wyoming today per Christian James on the free board

That Oregon offer is concerning. May not take him too long to jump on that offer unfortunately.

Even if he does commit early to the Ducks, we need to stay on him the entire process.

OU offer from Helfrich is far different from an OU offer by Chip Kelly, unless you base your decision only on uni's and perpetual grey skies.

Helfrich is as much an unknown as HCMM at this point.

Need to make Jones a top priority because he is still a bit under the radar. I have no idea why, but he is.

"The days of Colorado being recognized as the potential leader for Sam Jones are officially over. The recruiting process is wide open for the junior 6-5 and 275-pound offensive lineman from Littleton (Colo.) ThunderRidge. Oregon recently offered and plans are in the works for an upcoming visit with the Ducks. That does not bode well for the Buffaloes, for obvious reasons. It doesn't appear as if they can compete with elite Pac-12 Conference programs for prospects such as Jones. Colorado must pull out all the stops if they want to stay in the hunt for him."

I thought that snippet from 247 was non-news. We already knew Jones liked Oregon quite a bit.

Always appreciate your updates lawdogg. Just not that impressed with their west coast writer thus far.

He's obviously not that impressed with CU either. I'm not sure how telling fans their school can't compete for quality prospects is supposed to help their subscription base.

I could die from not-surprise! Guy has seen nothing but crap coaching and recruiting from CU his entire time of HS FB, the formative years of his impressions. With kids getting offered when they're sophs and juniors, its imperative a school have a modicum of success to point to, in developing a rapport with prospects, particularly in-state when a kid can drive up to Boulder and watch on his own. As is said, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

To me, this just emphasizes how highly toxic Water Bottle's regime was on in-state recruiting. Its gonna take a couple of cycles to remove the stench. (Of course comments on forums like this one, from so-called dedicated fans, that despite a successful spring by the new staff, CU will "totally suck" next fall are really helpful in their own way. Hey! In this day and age, if I'm a HS kid and I want some scoop on what those who seriously follow the program think, I'm gonna check this place out and learn that "interested, high-info" fans think the Buffs will suck, despite the new staff.) No "Ouch" necessary!

Sorry fans are too realistic for your liking.

MacIntyre has to make inroads more quickly if this program wants to move forward. Why we continue to try to tell ourselves otherwise is pretty odd to me.
