So....I have a rather monumentous 35th birthday coming up. It looks as if Ms. Rack is onboard with either the Pac-12 Tourney tix or the 1st/2nd round of the NCAA wherever the Buffs end up - which one? The choices....

NCAA tourney. Going to The Pit last year was a great experience. I'd jump at the chance to go again.

We need more loud drunk obnoxious CU fans to fight old ladies and maintain our reputation throughout the NCAA. The PAC12 already knows we're a@@holes

NCAAs. As Jens said, there's always going to be Vegas (presumably). The NCAA Tournament is truly special, and believe me, you can never take it for granted that we'll be going there a bunch of times in the future. It certainly looks that way, but the landscape can change so quickly you don't know what's happening.

Ahhhh, but CVille - one wild card here - I'm soon to be in your neck of the woods, Vegas will not be as easy to get to in the extremely near future. Plus, I'd be going by myself to the NCAAs, have a posse for Vegas.

NCAAs are definitely a bigger event.

But the P12T will probably be more fun.

Tough call.

The good news is it's hard to go wrong. Vegas will likely be the more festive atmosphere. But the NCAAs are definitely the bigger event - and if the Buffs land in a good location like Salt Lake or San Jose, it will be rocking with CU fans. Thankfully the new system has helped to minimize some of the ridiculousness of the days of Maryland, Vermont, Indiana and Georgia all playing in say, Boise. (key word being minimize).

Tourney 1st round games. You're a swabby -- you can always use the "Tailhook Review Committee" excuse to get to Vegas.

Geez, commander. I thot you knew this ......

Yeah - but seeing crap like us being in Dayton (****ing DAYTON) for rounds 2/3 does not exactly trip the trigger. Plus, airfare WAY expensive to get there.

P12 Tourney looking more likely...

tickets form here to Vegas aren't that expensive. go to the ncaa. you might get to see Carolina play!

I would pick the Pac trip to Vegas. Going to a ton of Allbuffers there, drinking, golf, drinking, bball, drinking, gambling, drinking, other cool stuff, drinking

Wait a sec. Are we planning on drinking during this trip? I didn't realize. :wink2:

See? Another reason for Vegas - built in AB party! I do have to say though, if we get the win today and sparky pulls off the upset, virtual lock I drop a leave request, book the tickets and work on finding a room in time for Thursday's tipoff. Wednesday might be too tricky with work.

C'mon Buffs! Get that 4 seed!
