Roberson is cleared to play!!

Random knowledgeable Internet poster on Rivals and Thorburn has a pic of him up on his twitter and confirmation from a source

**** yea! ease him into the OSU game and work the rust off and hopefully after a victory he will be ready to go against U of A.

How many minutes do you think Dre will play?

Since he's starting and I'm a hopeless optimist, I've got him between 25 and 30.

I honestly don't see this being an "ease dre in" and give him 10 minutes situation. We're talking about a guy who missed 2 games and this is a massively important game (Yes, we're all but in the Dance, but 2 losses to Oregon State is NOT what we want to end the conference season because I'm not trying to risk being shipped to Dayton...or screwed entirely) 20-25 is my guess. Granted, much depends on the nature of the game. If we can put them away early, by all means rest him. You need to be very careful with minutes and take any breaks you can get if you're fortunate enough to build up sizable leads in any games in these 4 day tournaments. If we're fortunate enough to be up 19 with 5 minutes to go, put Big Ben and others in. Every bit matters. And please, no OT.

I am also on the 20-25 minute bus and I hope it is closer to the 20 minutes. If it goes above 25, we are laying an egg in this game.

The problem is that our track record for "putting them away early" most certainly does not inspire confidence. I say we play him like it's a must win game. Because it is.

I venture to say this is and will end up being the biggest game of the season short of the tournament. The reason: seeding doesn't really matter as much this year as much as matchups. And a win would all but put icing on the cake. Don't get me wrong, I hope to win the P12 Tourney, but winning today will give us breathing room. I still think were no matter what and a healthy Dre is actually the most important thing.

I think if we lose this game, decent chance will be sent to Dayton. If we win, are we out of the Dayton sweepstakes?

A win and Dayton "First Four" won't even be a question, IMO. Heading into the Oregon State game, the Bracket Matrix (all 92 bracketology brackets out there) has CU on average as a 9.79 seed with Oklahoma, Cincinnati, California, Wichita State, Temple, St. Mary's, Villanova, Iowa State, Boise State, Kentucky, La Salle, Tennessee all behind us in that order. We've seemingly got a little breathing room from Dayton right now. I'm not even sure a loss sends us to Dayton (although I'll have no sympathy if it plays out like that, as we'd have brought it on ourselves).

Tad has multiple times said he is not someone who eases players back in, they are either ready to go 110% or they are sitting. There will be no limiting of Dre's minutes due to the illness.

I'm thinking the 20-25 range just because we'll blow them out and have the chance the rest him for zona...that's hopeful for this team though.

I have to figure if this is a tight game he will rack up some big minutes. He is down to the last few games of his college career.

I'm guessing he'll be in for 20-25 minutes, significantly lower than what he normally gets, but still enough to make a difference. I think we were -3 on the boards sat, and add in his normal 11 (plus him wanting the record and needing to make up for 2 lost games and low numbers v cal) and I think we could see a 15 board swing this game.
unfortunately I'm at work, and I'll need to be rigging up iheart radio to listen.

Dre's the only guy who doesn't look tired.

Props to Dre. Rest of the team can chew on what else I mean.
