Pac 12 Championship game

First thought: how can the arena be so empty? LA is freaking 4.5 hours tops from Vegas. It's Saturday. If Zona would've beat UCLA last night, the arena would be packed. UCLA fans suck. (While I'm at it, most pac12 fans suck. No passion. But that discussion is for another day...)

Second thought: Radioactive uniforms!

UCLA has an extremely weak fan base. Shockingly so for a program with such tradition. I understand some of the private schools having weak ones, but there's really no excuse for UCLA.

In Scooby Doo, the bad guys often are dressed in the same color green as these Nike U Fighting Ducks.

Lots of bad green uniforms. Baylor in the dance last year. Notre Dame and Oregon in the conference tourneys this year.

C'mon Bruins. Lets see a little run here in the final four minutes.

Choke job by UCLA.

Oregon did a nice job finishing.

i thought the dana altman hire was weak...when about every UO person i knew assured me they would get Few...but hey? after being fired at KSU did a nice job at Crieghton...and UO is Pac 12 champs.

CanadianDuck reappears in 3...2...1..

Honestly, you have to win the tournament when your route to the finals is Washington and Utah. There's really no other option. If you don't win it then, you never will.

Good chance UCLA gets seeded lower than some expect. Oregon will be a 7 now IMO.

He's benefitted greatly from getting transfers to this point, but UO's recruiting is beginning to pick up as well. They will be top 4 in the conference going forward with UA, UCLA, and us. UW and Cal should always field good teams as well, as should Stanford, but I see the aforementioned 4 being the top 4 teams in the Pac for the next several years.

It's pretty bad. I just don't know how much tradition that was largely 30+ years ago resonates with their fanbase today.

Congrats to Oregon. I really wanted to beat UCLA to have a rematch against Oregon. It was only a PAC-12 tournament game but that was a tough loss. Good luck tomorrow!!

UCLA without Adams is nowhere near the same team. Their short bench is an even bigger issue now, too.

UCLA and Oregon fan bases not showing up for the game was pitiful. There were more Oregon fans at our football game than at Vegas. UCLA is too damn close. No excuse.

Ari bought up a lot of tickets. Then packed up and went home when they lost to UCLA. Kind of sad that a fanbase that claims to be such great hoops fans couldn't stick around for one more game. Of course, it's also sad that UCLA fans didn't make the drive from LA when their team kept advancing, too...
