I'm very worried that none of us will see the 2nd week this year.

I don't have a single PAC:12 team in my sweet 16.

CU versus Miami
California versus Syracuse
UCLA versus Florida
Oregon versus St Louis
Arizona versus New Mexico

honestly all of those games are tough to find PAC:12 wins in.

2 teams will make it to the "3rd" round. Us and someone else.

Aside from us, I picked Cal, I like their draw. A vegas team they've already played, and a 'Cuse team that hasn't been that good down the stretch. All basically at home.

I'm rooting bigtime for Oregon (not to advance farther than us, but just to do well) ... not just because we beat them twice, but because I think they got dissed on their seeding. Hopefully they use that for motivation ... and Cal too.

Can Cal beat the Syracuse zone? I don't think they have the patience to wait for the right shot.

Crabbe and Cobbs need to be on fire in that one. If they can just keep it close, I love those guys shooting FTs at the end.

Syracuse needs to beat a zone themselves. The time zone. They're in dangerous territory being shipped all the way to San Jose this weekend.

That's actually a dangerous Montana team they play tonight. I think Syracuse advances. I think this also might be Boeheim's last year.

Yea I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was his last year, especially with yesterday's news coming down.

I'd like to see Cal take out unlv, too. They and Oregon were pretty disrespected with the 12 seeds.

Cal deserved about a 12, imo. 11 was probably most accurate. Cal had zero quality wins OOC and stumbled at the end losing to Stanford at home and Utah in Vegas. What I don't understand are the "adjustments" that led to dropping Cal a seed line giving them a rematch with a team they've already played.

If I'm Cal, I'm happy. Turned out to be pretty much a home game.

5/12 line is a good place to be. Look at Oregon, now all of a sudden they're playing Saint Louis in San Jose to go to the Sweet 16. Saint Louis is solid, I'm fully aware, but it's a hell of a lot better than playing Louisville or Indiana.

10-7 South Dakota State.

This game is like watching Hoosiers in HD.

Take note of Louisville, Zags - that's what a #1 seed is supposed to look like.

Got lucky enough to vote after today's games. Zona will beat Harvard and go to the sweet 16 and then have to really start to play to move on. AZ carries the Pac the furthest this year.

Did I piss you off? Did not read the deleted portion but unfortunately I did not see the thread until late this evening after work. Had a benefit of the poll not being closed until the 23rd.

No ... just misunderstood the meaning of your post at first. My bad ... that's why I deleted it.

It's not a competition.

I was at the game. Yikes. On the positive side, Montana's cheerleaders (other than the fat one) were pretty hot.

Looks like Montana was missing their leading scorer. He's been out since late February. Props to them for being able to still win the Big Sky without him, but the challenge of facing Syracuse without your top scorer definitely got inside their heads. This was a team that didn't believe for one second that they could win.
