We had them in the "bonus" at the 12 or 13 min mark. Why wasn't Spencer driving for fouls like he has all season? It's ridiculous he ended up with a 1/8 shooting line. He should have finished with +30pts considering how early we were bonus FT eligible so early in the 2nd half. What a breakdown from our fundamentals.

My guess is they were double teaming when he had the ball and then collapse the defense and look to draw a charge.

Illinois did a great job on the Mayor today. They frustrated the hell out of him and then he was in foul trouble. Just never got into a rhythm. Also doesn't help that he was having one his worst shooting nights since he's been here.

He played a lot of the second half with four fouls. With the refs making some questionable calls he didn't want to give the refs a chance to take him out of the game.

He is the offense. When do we ever win when Dinwiddie isn't scoring? He has to step up in these games. No alternatives. He'll be a JR next year, no f'ing excuses, bring it against opponents you don't know! So upset he didn't show what he's capable of.

Well you see gold... When he has 4 fouls, 2 of which were from charging... Him and tad probably new that the refs were calling that over blocking fouls. So why be really aggressive with the chance to foul out.

It sucks that we didn't get to see replays on any of Dinwiddies charging calls. I failed to see them in real time, and wanted to have an opportunity to see them on replay, but no such luck.

Season is over. Does maybe fouling out seem like a better alternative? Winners don't make f'ing excuses.

Results, not excuses.

Btw, I'm not saying that to be mean, but you can't succeed and grow if everyone is kissing your ass and telling you good job. Life is about getting better and learning to come back stronger.

All good. Spencer would be the first guy to say he had a very frustrating game. He'll bounce back. And I damn sure wouldn't want to be the guy who draws the assignment of guarding him in the 1st round next year.

I need him to bottle this game up, take it with him at every big game, especially the next NCAA tourney game. If he's an NBA player, you don't let a couple of forgettable chumps from Illinois knock you off your game.

I'm sure he will, when you sit down and talk with him about it.

Referees' questionable calls? Charging, instead of blocking, in favor of the B1G squad??? And four on Roberson, over the back? Say it ain't so!

Quit bitching about the refs, they called a good, evenly called game.

Spencer, call me!

I'm still so bummed out about the game I'm better off talking to myself for a while.

I hate losing more than I like winning.

exactly how i feel gold. i hated that every call went against spencer. i cant believe how refs just hand out charges these days. i swear, you can just about undercut someone, or simply flop over and they call the charge. and then in slow motion it doesnt look good. that being said spence was way too passive early. he must know that if he can't get his shot off then knowone else can either.

Throughout the whole Pac 12 season. These refs however called a very fair game.

i was amazed yesterday when the whistle blew yesterday at times, reminded me that pac 12 refs let a lot go or their just too slow or stupid to call a game right.

Defenses are being given too many advantages across the country.

I agree. Offenses can hardly run a set play with all the grabbing and bumping of guys they allow when you try to run them around screens.
