Metro State National Title Game

You are correct ... excerpts from Clark's Metro State bio:

"Prior to Metro State, Clark was an assistant coach at the University of Colorado for three years......
Clark also spent two successful years with Bzdelik at the Air Force Academy.....
Prior to his time at Air Force, Clark was on Metro State’s coaching staff for eight seasons from 1997 through 2005, including the final five years as a full-time assistant"

I watched that game. Announcers didn't give Metro much of a chance and seemed to think a comeback was inevitable. One heck of an effort.

Watched it too. I'd bet that at some point Coach Clark gets a shot somewhere at a D-I school.

On what channel did you watch it ... or was it on the web?

And when and what time is the final?

TIA

It was way up in the 700s on the Comcast HD. Altitude, I think. Not sure when the final is.

Thanks ... I have Altitude on Dish ... I'll look up the game time.

What a year for Front Range basketball!

It was on Altitude, which I get as Comcast Channel 25. The final is on April 7th at 4:00 PM Denver time. The play a college named Drury from Springfield, MO, which ended up No. 6 or 7 nationally in DII. Lotta colleges out there. With interesting names.

its gonna be spectacular

I watched the entire second half. Really entertaining game. But most entertaining was West Liberty's doppelganger of Ollie from Hoosiers.

West Liberty formula:

1. Find pure shooters regardless of size.
2. Feed diet of cane sugar and Five Hour Energy.
3. Give mandatory buzz haircuts.
4. Start.
5. Run.
6. Repeat.

My conclusion is that they're not in a real strong conference.

viewing party at brooklyn's today starting at 1:30
Game on cbs a 2pm mt
Radio on 104.3

Metro didn't score for almost the last four minutes of the game. Sloppy for both teams at the end. Drury missed a few free throws as well.

Lots of contact on the final play, refs swallowed the whistle but on the last play of games they do that unless somebody gets killed.
