We're really high on the academic scale there

Yeah, I'm not buying the part where we're ahead of Wisonsin.

Notice that we're ahead of UCSB. Suck it Cal (this references a previous conversation with Cal fans before you guys climb on board and point out the difference between Santa Barbara and Berkeley)!

forget academics, there is no way that Penn State or Florida State parties harder than we do. I haven't been more disappointed that the CU game at FSU in terms of quality of women and partying in general.

I think we are right where we should be if you added the two categories together... but how they split is definitely something to quibble over.

Florida State is the worst. Well, I had a lot of fun there over a variety of weekends because of some agreeable ladies, but for a bar scene? The worst!

I walked into one of their most popular bars and orded our a group a round of shots to get stuff going. Erm...turns out nobody in the so-called college party district in Tallahassee (however the **** that is spelled) serves hard booze. It's a beer and wine town! Bad beer.

We ended up taking a cab to some crappy honky-tonk place because they served liquor and ended up having fun in spite of Tallahassee (and continued going back in subsequent weekends). But seriously, that's probably the lamest college party scene I've ever encountered.

we went to the game, left before the 4th quarter and drove to Panama City and spent the rest of the weekend there.

I was crashing in the girls' dorm and wasn't willing to relocate, but otherwise that would have been a good plan.

2/3rds of the Pac12 are missing.

@ Illinois fans...that 19 year old drinking law appears overrated.

This thing is totally bogus. They have ASU at about dead center for academics, and I'd venture to guess that all junior colleges and high schools, as well as many junior high schools are more academically challenging than Arizona State. I'll assume that Baylor was excluded completely from the study as their inclusion would have surely pushed everybody else into the top quartile by comparison.

The president of Harvey Mudd will smugly pour himself an extra ovaltine this evening, and congratulate himself on a job well done.

. Where is Orr or Flukes I need stuff explained to me.
is ok. not that important. Take the graph out of it and just think about how both values, when added, get to about the right spot. Maybe our partying is low and the academics high, but otherwise the total is right.

Tante,

Snow is saying that specific values may be misplaced but ultimately what Cal grads call "relative positioning" appears to be about right.

I'm pretty sure the 19 year old law they kept bringing up is just that bars let 19 year olds in, but not order booze (though I'm not sure how strict they are with that). One bar in Lawrence had this rule and I really appreciated it.
