Bohn Gone (Official Thread on His Departure)

This is not Mike Bohn

Would like to know more before even putting this past pure speculation but if so the next question is why?

Does this signal that somebody wants to raise expectations in the athletic department or lower them? Did MB promise to deliver some donations to fund facilities that didn't come through? Did he piss of Benson?

Not sure I trust the folks who would be doing the hiring for the next AD. Could be a good thing, could be a bad thing. Fingers crossed.

Ceal Barry.

Or hopefully someone from a big-time football program that can also raise funds

Bohn Gone

Ceal Barry = end of football forever. We will never be a major program with her in charge. I'm hoping a group of major donors is forcing the change and they want to bring in a new outsider That would be a sign of hope. If it is ceal then I don't see any good ahead for football

Ugh!!

THIS IS THE WRONG ****ING ORDER. AD FIRST. THEN NEW AD PICKS NEW COACH.

ALLCAPS

Yep. FAIL if true

How so?

This doesnt seem to make much sense (granted this is CU), unless Solich flipped his **** about not getting Jones. If "the admin" is Bruce, Phil, et all I cant see them disliking the hire.

really?

Whether it's the internal admin, or the big donors that want to run the program, if they are going to fire the AD over a coaching hire after one spring, they are ****ing morons.

Bohn needed to go half-way thru the football season last year so the new AD could get acclimated at CU so he/she could make the right hire. This is just awkward timing if true

If this is true, then the firing has to be over the fundraising issues and Bohn's inability to secure donations.

Just have a hunch that Solich will be the new AD...

I heard this from the burrito stand today. One of Bohns buddies was calling this at 9am today. Apparently him and Benson are butting heads.

So, the new AD would be the guy that wouldn't make the donations that Bohn would be fired over not getting?

Yeah, that doesn't smell bad at all....
