Mike Bohn fired as CU AD

So it's official. Now time to debate whether the sky is falling or we're in the dawn of a new age of success!

Color be concerned. This looks like another amateur hour execution by CU, and if Benson and DiStefano get to pick the successor, then watch out.

The ONLY way this is acceptable is if the new guy gets the football facilities funded. And even then it could be a disaster.

What happened this past week that hadn't happened the past several years to bring the axe?

Might be a sign that the two clowns at the top finally figured out that we have a football program.

I actually don't mind Ceal as long as she is given a directive that winning football is the priority. That said I don't think she will even be in the running. I think this is entirely fund raising related and Ceal wasn't the glad hander for that stuff even before her back got so bad that she had trouble walking out onto the court sometimes.

We will probably have an idea of how much planning went into this soon. If they have a new name announced in the next few days then we will know that it was in the works for a while, if the search drags out and they act like they have no clue (their normal) then we will know that it was likely a spur of the moment thing that happened fairly quickly.

That's what Im curious about. He botched a few hires (embree, hawk, etc) but I always thought boyle and lappe saved his skin for a few years.
