Andre Roberson 1 - Internet Geniuses 0

Anybody record it.. I got to my TV when the spurs had the 28th pick.

Is this this the official eating crow thread? Never been happier to be wrong, definitely made the right decision.

Showed my dumbass what's up. Huge congrats to Dre! You made it to the Association!

Awesome. He made the right choice. It sucks to lose him, but he did the right thing.

Congrats Dre!

I guess this effectively ends the "Good luck riding a bus in the D-League" posts? I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss those...

I am jacked for Dre. If he fell late second, or third round we all would have second guessed him leaving all year. Now there is no doubt that what he did was right. Also means there is little doubt that the Mayor is gone after this year.

Why? Didn't you write half of 'em?

Not a one. You'll never see me calling out a great Buff the way a few others did. Again, congrats to Dre, and it's really good to see that he ultimately made the right decision.

Nice to read:
About an hour after he was picked, Roberson tweeted, "Wanted to thank CU for the best 3 years of my life! Most importantly the CUint and the community as we helped build it back up. #ForeverBuff"

Is that the Tux from his HS prom?

Did he mistype c-unit or did he mistakenly add an i?

Congrats andre!
Though I wish you would have stayed, i'm glad you went and even happier you went late in the first. Take the money and run!

So pumped for Dre. He deserves this. He busted his ass, always was accountable, and was a great Buff. Now let's watch him mess some people up on the next level.

I too thought he made a bad decision but like most all of us and the "experts" we were all wrong. Awesome for Dre and for CU. Nice to see a few Buffs in the NBA. Billups is still playing for the Clips, right? Plus Copeland a surprise story for the Knicks, Burcs for Utah and now Dre for OKC. All playing for damn good teams too.

Pretty amazing. CU definitely on the map for hoops and temporarily off the map for football.

jk! I wrote half of 'em, because as much as I liked Dre, I did not initially think his decision was sound for his short term future and I did not like the implications of his father's comments. His "O" still has miles to go and that is not the fault of this staff!

Besides, anybody here who claims they thought he'd go that high is greatly exaggerating---euphemistically speaking!

Wish him nothing but the best. Now maybe he can share a wall in the CEC with Chauncey?
