Wow...he's like a robot. That's a post CU game presser right there. He says EXACTLY the same stuff. I get the feeling when they ask him someday why he didn't have a better post-Boise career he's going to say "It was just a matter of cleaning up a few details here or there. We practiced great..."

My actual emotion upon viewing this was one of relief. Dang I am glad we are past that era. That's just hard stuff to watch. He's actually a bit sleazy/tricky too. The response to the question about the QB's criticism by saying "Honestly guys, I don't watch your stuff" is so disingenuous as to be insulting. By not saying "Why? What DID the QB say?" he shows that he knew what was going on. It would have been hard for him NOT to have known.

Just glad as hell he's not here anymore. Maybe he needs to bring Cody to Montreal. They might practice even better with another QB option. At least he could be sure then that the starting QB wouldn't be calling him out on the TV he doesn't watch...

I know that last decade has been terrible but we are much smarter fans. We can cut through the bull**** and I hope at this point we can correlate what a coach says to what we see on the field.

I think that's the positive side of things as they stand today with us. On the negative side, we're too slow to accept good news and too often come across as skeptics instead of fans. Unfair to the new coaches, imo.

I have moved from being a sunshine pumper to being skeptical and waiting on the results. I think that is important for us as fans to move past justifications and excuses and demand winning.

There's a middle ground. It can still be fun. You can still get excited by good news. And then you can ground that with realistic expectations.

The mannerism, I guess you call it, that gets me is that when a reporter asks a question he starts laughing like, "ha ha, what a stupid question." Condescending jerk. MacIntyre seems like the "anti Hawk" so far.

Is this after the Winnipeg game? I can't bring myself to watch Hawk speaking. Did watch some of that game and it was a Hawkins coached team. Offensive futility. I don't understand CFL rules but I did have a good laugh when the announcers were confused by his call not to take a point, saying something along the lines of "this is not a normal CFL call."

In case anyone is interested in an exchange program, there are Montreal Allouette message boards. And these boards show that bull**** smells the same in Canada.

HfXtcThe next par I'll write in English so it ends in the right ear. Listen Hawk. First off that group of players is proven, they don't have to prove to us they belong in pro ball. You do. About that 43-1 to BC was on the road against the GC winners with a beat up squad, not sure why you brought that up but man were you ever looking for an out with that one. Do me a favor. Stop using the word "Science" because your starting to remind me of Walter White on Breaking Bad. Start listening to Berry or he'll have your job within a month.

oldpro when Hawkins was hired I said he would last 2 seasons at best. The Als will be lucky to play 500 this season. What I witnessed on Thursday was unacceptable to anyone's standards. I have never seen an offense so out of sync. their pass pro was brutal, but what was more troublesome was the concepts on offense, or should I say no concepts whatsoever. Popp what could you have been thinking ? Maybe you should try looking in your backyard for a Head Coach or at least an offensive coordinator.

soooo glad he is not with CU anymore... and his hair sure has greyed up and he looks rough.

Wow. Just, wow. Some things dont change. "little things"!!

He puts his time and effort into the "little things" because even he realizes he has no clue about how to fix the "big things" like running a coherent offense or making plays on special teams.

How many mid-week games did Hawk's Boise State teams play in order to get on ESPN? That may have been the secret to his success. His teams ****ing PERFORM from Monday through Friday.

Sorry...but I just had to laugh at what that one Montreal poster named the offense...
the "Helen Keller offense". Haha...props to them for coming up with a name for it. That's exactly what we ran here during Hawk's tenure.

I think it was AZ who reported that Hawk was so clueless and full of himself that when they decided to install some option looks for Tyler, Hawk actually told Hagan that he was doing it wrong / teaching it wrong. Dan Hawkins apparently knows more about how to run a successful option than Darian Hagan.

That's what we had here, folks.
