U reveals pricey plan for Gophers athletics

actually all buff fans just collectively sigh.

We have some untapped wealth in the alumni system. We have a large core of die hard fans. We have history. We have location. We have the TV deal. We have the income stream. Just look at how basketball exploded once they started succeeding. I think this state is truly hungry for a college program that they can throw their support behind. Its a matter of complete and total incompetence in the administration. So frustrating.

Apparently we are the Northwestern of the Pac-12. Talking about fundraising, with nothing to show for it.

Since when did Minnesota start referring to themselves as "The U"?
Same time that South Carolina refers to itself as USC or Northern Colorado as UNC. Funny story back in the AIM days when everyone listed the colleges they got into there, my friend listed "FSU," so I said you got into Florida State. He said, "no, Frostburg (State)," that was awkward.

a/s/l?

I think the Minnesota distinction has more to do with it being a public school.

And the administration's attitude towards football. It wouldn't shock me if CU football ended up sharing Sports Authority Field with the Broncos down the road due to the neglect of Folsom Field. That might be the outcome if the $170 million facilities plan falls through and nothing is done with Folsom Field.

You serious, Clark? Are we going to join the MWC to?
