Tony Jones had 58 yards on 12 carries for a 4.8 average.
Team had another good game on 3rd down, converting 5/12 and only allowing 6/19.
Playcalling was surprisingly balanced, with 36 passes and 34 rushes (though 4 of the "rushes" were sacks).
Tyler McCulloch was 2nd on the team with 5 receptions (going for 50 yards - nice game for him).
Devin Ross got his first game action and the freshman got his first catch as a Buff.
DD Goodson was shut out as a WR, though he drew a PI and probably should have drawn a couple more.
D Webb led the team with 8 tackles. Bell, Awuzie and Gillam tied for 2nd with 7 apiece.
Jimmie Gilbert had our only sack, the first of his Buff career. He also added a QB Hurry.
Jeff Thomas and Samson Kafovalu both sat for the 2nd straight game. Doghouse?

Could have sworn I saw Samson out there a few times

Samson played late, no doubt. My kid specifically mentioned his presence and we checked the roster to confirm. Also, his name is hard to miss on the jersey.

He was definitely out there late in the game. He's sporting one of those super cage facemasks.

Yup, I saw him too, when they were behind and all pass. I was trying to figure out where they lined him up, though. I was pretty sure it was at DT, which made sense with the game situation but still interesting.

Sorting the INTs by yardage to see where Bell stood, thought it was interesting that Mathis from Oregon got 97 yards on one return with no TD. Pretty good hustle by someone on offense.
