I thought there was bad flooding up in Ft. Collins, too, and they shut the campus down. How are they playing the game? Locally, is there any negative press or does no one care?

How hard is it to get <15,000 people in and out of the stadium. They won't draw much more than a big HS game does in some places so roads aren't an issue when traffic isn't an issue.

The crowd arriving at Folsom was the biggest issue for CU. CSU does not have that issue at Hughes.

There may be more people showing up at Folsom today for the meals the team is serving than attending the game in West FoCo...

Yeah. I was thinking about that. Playing Cal Poly up in Ft. Collins. Probably won't draw too many more people than the CU Soccer match against DU on Sunday.

11000 tix distributed, and only about 5,000 non-season tix distributed. they might have less than 5k there.

CSu isn't as flush with money as their spending indicates

They can't afford to lose all the revenue a home game generates

No one cares, and I also think I read that Cal-Poly was already in town when a decision may have been made.

I wonder how many people attended, based upon the damage in FoCo, as well as the fact that I-25 was closed up at the main FoCo exits for much of the day.

Saban will take his foot off the gas since McElwhine is his old buddy

Looked at sheepnation, even with a win today they are a defeated bunch. Must suck when you season is effectively over the first week of the schedule.

I wonder what Bama would do to them if a miracle happened and Bama' lost to aTm. The game is such a physical missmatch that I would expect to see a number of impact injuries to CSU next week even with Bama taking it easy on them.

Just think, when they get the new stadium they will have that many people every week for the Lady Gaga concerts, tractor pulls and weddings.

Hell, they'll bring in that many just for the Clyde and Martha Clodbreaker 50th anniversary, just because people want to be in that stadium that bad....

as if you dont remember last year.

Don't remind me.

But for us it was one year, for them it is virtually every year. Lose to us and their fans shrug their shoulders and pretend like they don't know that there is a team until a few weeks before they play us again the next year. Win and their fans spend the rest of the year celebrating that win and don't bother with the rest of the schedule.
