BYU - Utah to resume rivalry in 2017 (and this affects us)

Love this. First of all, I travel to Utah a lot on business, and could easily take in a road game any other weekend, but not on Thanksgiving. So this is one more road trip for me every other year.

Secondly, I hate the Nubs almost as much as I love CU. It's still my #2 team to watch, especially when they are getting ridden hard. Yes please.

I thought only USC and Stanford had permission from the league to play an OOC game outside of the first three game window.

As much as I hate the idea of moving CSU to "rivalry week" (because they're undeserving), anything is better than playing CSU in week 1. The whole CSU "ambush" is out the door if we play late in the season (or any date except week 1).

As a whole, I'm frankly glad Utah and BYU are playing. I hate seeing realignment destroying storied rivalries. This is just one of the many examples of a series that needs to continue.

If they give $C and Stanford waivers for playing ND, it would be bull**** not to give UU and BYU the same indulgence. It's just as much of a rivalry. It does affect us insofar as giving us some kind of bull**** about playing CSU then, but whatever. I don't care about Utah enough to want to keep them as a 'rival'.

Oh please,oh please, oh please! I'd love to resume the rivalry with the nubs. I don't get fired up for any other game like I do when we play those ****ers!

i'm psyched about the timing more than anything. Plenty of time to get our act together and be ready to get some W's against them.

The Nubs are playing Iowa at the end of the season, aren't they?

It's funny - that's another 'rivalry' the Nubs think they're too good for.

I had a Husker fan friend actually tell me that he thought their real rivals should be Michigan and tOSU.
