New Basketball Roster

I'm excited to see Jelly Scott this year.

He had the toughest job on the team last year and he wore down.

He's gonna be very good this year if he has developed his counter post moves

Jenkins- went from 180 to 185. I hope he was actually 160 (and listed at 180) last year and is now 185
Scott - 215 last year to 245 this year? 30 pounds is pretty tough to put on from April to September (unless he is on my pizza and beer diet)
Booker - grew an inch, interesting

this is a very long roster. When your shortest guy is 6'2", you are going to give other teams some matchup problems. If Dustin Thomas, can play that stretch 4 that we have always wanted, we are going to be an dangerous team.

I totally agree with this. He's not going to get pushed around this year, and now that he knows just how long a season is, he can be better prepared - both mentally and physically.

I'm going to officially doubt the height changes. too many guys "grew" and CU basketball especially has a history of fudging numbers. Only reason I believe Jelly's weight is that I saw him.

I can't be the only one that never believes official rosters. If you've ever seen Scott and Gordon stand next to each other Gordon is as tall if not slightly taller.

I do believe that XJ was 6'7 to start with. Also my roommate when I lived in LA, played pick up at the same gym as Askia. When I mentioned that he was 6'1, he told me he looked much taller than that. So Askia being listed at 6'2 is no shock to me. Side note, my roommate would also tell me how Askia would go in there and posterize people on a nightly basis.

(all combine heights with shoes)

Dre on roster: 6'7" 210
Dre at combine: 6'7" 206

Burks on Roster: 6'6" 195
Burks at combine: 6'6" 193

Higgins on Roster: 6'5" 180
Higgins at pre draft workout: 6'4.5" 183

Brown on Roster: 6'5" 215
Brown at pre draft workout: 6'3" (no shoes) 216 ***shoes add 1 to 1.5 inches to the height

It seems like the CU roster was pretty accurate, at least for the nba players. I'm sure if a player is 6'6.1 inches that gets rounded up.

Gordon's is legit he measured in at 6'9" last year.

While I agree that Scott will benefit from the additional muscle, I think he'll benefit more from having Gordon in the frontcourt with him.

I have a feeling that Mills will give us some effective minutes as a senior this year.
