ASU looks pretty average tonight and they will likely beat up on everyone outside of UCLA in the South.

It'll be interesting to see how the Pac12 ends up in 12 years. The big money schools are USC and UO with UDub not too far behind. Stanford and Cal can recruit based on their brand. The inland empire is expanding so you'd think that would be best for the south schools.

Hopefully there's a bit of back and forth throughout the years, but as of right now it's the 3 teams up north and everyone else.

It will balance out in the end, but ASU should probably be a little concerned about Graham right now. That team is slightly better than the Erickson teams.

Over time, I think the advantage lies in the South due to the better recruiting grounds. The advantage is slight, though. Kind of like how UT has a recruiting advantage in Dallas over OU. But there are things that make several of the schools in the North special, which will keep it close to balanced. We'll never have a Big 12 situation.

Chip Kelly has said multiple times that Helfrich is the smartest coach he has ever met, but I am worried about that sort of situation happening. It is to soon to tell as his roster is stacked with talent, but it will only take a few years to see his real coaching ability once Mariota and DAT graduate.
