just what we need.

also, we get a waiver (if we need it)

Last Friday, Colorado received a waiver from the NCAA for it to be bowl eligible if it gets to six wins this season but if two were to come against FCS teams. Under the current rules, schools are allowed one win over an FCS opponent to count toward the minimum six required for postseason eligibility; the Buffaloes already had played an FCS school, Central Arkansas, winning that game 38-24 back on Sept. 7.

yea... not sure we will be favored in this game.
Kind of a deceiving record, they've played a pretty weak schedule (combined record of 9-21 and have played two D2 schools (one of which is 1-4)). Sagarin has them #170 overall (we're #87) and #4 in the Big South.

Edit: Snow, why are you using 2012's rankings? Sagarin updates them weekly.

They've been wretched of late, getting blown out by Hawaii, Illinois, and Florida State among others. But in 2013 they are 5-0, including 4-0 on the road. Nervous.

might have gotten a bad link.

For comparison sake, they're #170, CU is #83, CSU is #96, Central Arky is #118. Northern Colorado is #179... (Oregon State is #50, but somehow that seems less relevant to this discussion...)

Their qb dixon is a run first qb and they don't pass a lot. They give up a bunch in the running game, adkins should have a fun day. This should be a comfortable win.

In terms of TV, we're now game #7 in the conference that day. Forget USC-ND, as NBC takes that. UCLA-Stanford might be a gameday game (especially given the Tiger Woods guest picker chatter) and Brent Musberger. Washington-ASU might also be picked up by ESPN......Who knows about the other four.

Low country boil= bring water to boil in a large boiling pot. Put in old bay seasoning and any other spices you enjoy(cayenne pepper, black pepper, sea salt, etc), next, small red potatoes for about 40 min, then sausage and kelibasa for 10, then fresh ears of corn broken in half, for 5 min, then raw shrimp for 3 (or until they tun pink/white). Scoop out with strainer and serve on a newspaper covered table.

Looks like they're a running team. Over 5 games, 1123 yards rushing, 600 yards passing. They're averaging 51.6 rushes and 15.6 passing attempts per game...

0 chance we're not favored in this one. Long travel for them and their depth should be worse later in the season. Woot. I like this

That's not exactly a strong schedule they've faced by FCS standards. Appalachian State is way down. Every FCS team they've faced has 1 win and Shorter is obviously like NAIA. They'll be right down the road from me @ VMI the week before they go to CU. Maybe I'll scout 'em out
