Parking today: Franklin Field lots closed

Tini is right. They need to put artificial turf on Franklin field. It would keep this stuff from happening. It happens way too much.

We need a covered tailgate facility. How do we expect to compete in the conference without one?

You mean cater to football fans and provide an enjoyable gameday experience in Boulder? BLAPHEMY!!!

If I was a big donor and had a gold lot pass I'd be pissed. We are pissing off the people that are our biggest donors to the AD? Sigh.

We are little league and the NFL came to town today to play us.

I got shuffled to 308 and it took 45minutes plus to get from the right lane on 28th to that lot. This is/was as bad as i have ever seen it. The AD will be hearing from me, bumping me from franklin to 494 is one thing, having it take 45 minutes for me to get a spot and then have it be in 308 is inexcusable.

They put you all the way on the other side of Regent? Damn.

You need to also send RG an email. Isn't it like a 1K to get one of those spots on top of a big donation?

I heard from multiple sources that the traffic was horrible today.

It WAS horrible. I came from the east and a golf tournament. And I was shocked to see Franklin Field bare. You told me they pay $1,000.00 a season to tailgate there. They charge that kind of money they better have the place open for a game like this.

I continue to be amazed at the tailgates though. I didn't get to Boulder until the middle of the first quarter. So I parked as best I could, and hustled to Folsom. On the way there were many folks still tailgating. i swear some of these folks don't give a rip for college football, they just need an excuse to drink profusely.

He'll get a call Monday, so will Kurt at the foundation., I am less than amused.

We decided to come up last minute, despite being within pissing distance of campus over an hour before kick we missed ralphie run due to: traffic, distance away I was forced to park, and having a young child.

I am sick of hearing people bitch about the fans not getting into the game fast enough, it should not take 20 minutes for the students to pass through thier only gate, it shouldnt take an hour plus to get from the left turn lane on 28th to my seats. At one point we sat through 5+ cycles of lights trying to turn on to regent, we sat and did not move for over 15 minutes
I'd don't give a rip if a few people who's tailgate started late took a while to come to the game. Even if they had wanted to they'd have had a hard time seeing ralphie.

It used to be a minimum $1000/yr donation. Now it is unspecified, I think it based on priority pts and donation amount. The spot itself is still only $20/game.

As far as closing the lot i don't mind anymore. I have gotten used to at least one game per year having the lot closed. What they could do though is to make sure that 494 has enough spots to accommodate all Franklin Field permit holders by limiting the number of cash spots available.

This is all I am asking for.

Two things:
One: Yesterday's game was a no-hoper. Lots of folks probably felt that their day would be more enjoyable by not witnessing an epic beat-down.
Two: Most CU fans don't need much of an excuse to drink profusely.
