Both went 2-0 in Pac-12 play, highlighted by Volleyball knocking off #1 Washington.

Also, hearing reports of good crowds and fun game atmospheres. Keg was rocking Friday night for VB (not sure what it was like on Sunday). Soccer said they drew over 1,000 fans for Sunday's match.

Going to be interesting to see what the rankings look like when they come out today and tomorrow.

Soccer entered last week #19 in RPI. They could very well be ranked.

Volleyball is going to be held back by that Wyoming loss, but should at least get some Top 25 votes.

I'm really happy with what's going on with CU athletics right now. Really good group of coaches and an administration that is finally committing to athletics. It means so much for campus life, donor support and application.

As I have said before, CU (like any organization) should commit to achieving excellence at whatever it endeavors to do. That's a culture that will permeate every aspect of CU.

This really was a great weekend for out non revenue sports. Unfortunately for me, I was unable to watch because of it being on the Pac-12 Network. Soccer and volleyball have a chance at being our best teams and it's great that they are getting support. You're right about the Wyoming loss, if it wasn't for that, we sould probably be top 20.

The crowd was a little light on Sunday for the Washington State game. Let's see how the ladies do on this next road run (Cal and Stanford). That Utah loss still hurts too--that was very winnable. But it's nice sitting 3 and 1 in conference play after what we've seen the last few seasons.
