punt return yardage is a freak'n joke. You could catch the ball and fall forward for a higher average. The points average makes it look like we have actually been competitive.

I am not sure how they calculate this stat but its been terribly low for years, you really have to go back to 2008 for it to be even marginal:

2012 -> 5.5 yards per return for a total of 89 yards
2011 -> 4.3 YPR for a total of 56
2010 -> 7.2 YPR for a total of 131
2009 -> 3.3 YPR total of 100
2008 -> 9.2 YPR total of 293
 
If only with Hobbs...
SJSU used the hell out of their TE last year, and it sure would be nice to have this year.
All we get is a TE running a 5 yard curl route and sitting down in a zone about once a game. Would really like to see someone step up there for next year, but I have no idea who that is going to be.
