We get our 2nd P-12 road win....P-Rich goes nuts.....Adkins runs wild.....Sefo throws for MILES!! :saythat::drunk:

As one of ABers leading Kool-Aid consumers, I must admit you have gone way off the wagon. Perhaps your Kool-Aid was spiked?

There are 2 things to like about the UCLA matchup:

1) They have been hit hard by injuries and their OL is now a hot mess

2) P-Rich is extra motivated to play his former team in front of his friends/family in LA

There's also a lot to not like, but if you're looking for reasons to have some hope, those are good ones.

Not much to like about us playing a road game against a quality Pac 12 opponent. On top of it, our 2 most explosive offensive weapons, PRich and Adkins, are both dinged up.

Not good!

Scary part is Hundley might run for 400 yards if Denker got 192 on us. They have a DL/LB/DE I think # 11, dude is a stud

If we had another athletic LB or if Gillam spies Denker instead of Carey the whole game Denker doesn't do much, just another example of a star player making plays for the offense without making plays that game.

If Gillam was on Denker, Carey would have rushed for 350 yards. Another Gillam would cure a lot that ails our defense.

ATTENTION ALLBUFFS:

the purple acid that is going around is bad. don't do any of the purple acid!

now back to the show...

all kidding aside, i can squint my eyes and with enough bourbon in me, i can foresee a Buff win v. ucla. why not? stranger things have happened. hugely unlikely but not impossible.

No effin way we win this game. We are just not ready yet to compete in the Pac 12, especially on the road against a ranked opponent. Cal at home is a way more reasonable opportunity to get 1 Pac victory this season.

Just can't picture anyway we win this game. If we could even make it competitive in the 2nd half that would be a victory.

I honestly don't see it. If UCLA plays like ****, gives up some turnovers, and maybe we get a defensive TD or two, I could see us being in the game and maybe leading at halftime - and that's even a stretch. The talent difference is so great that UCLA would have play terribly for all 4 quarters and still we'd need breaks. There's just no way that it could happen, especially in a good weather place like Pasadena. If we would get a team like $C in a snowstorm, I could see a few breaks being all we would need, but there's literally a 0.00001% chance we win on Sat.

Hell, I don't see any way, other than Mora taking his starters out in the first half, that we keep it under the spread.

I predict UCLA blocks a punt on us, maybe two. They have blocked a punt in almost every game and came close a bunch. They even blocked one on Oregon and came close a couple of times on them. The kid that keeps blocking them is #30. We will give them plenty of opportunities :( , maybe like 8-10 chances.

It would be nice if a d-linman could keep a gaurd off the line backers.

I've only been able to watch one full game this year, being a DTV subscriber and all......they won, I'm pretty sure I'm the good luck charm. I watch, we win. Thank me Sunday folks.

I sure hope so. Plant your ass in front of the TV and don't move. Don't even look away from the screen. As a matter of fact, pull out all your old recorded CU games and start watching them.

Maybe the Buffs can wear those sky-blue Fairbanks unis and create total confusion

LAst week I indicated we did not have the d line to contain Denkers. This was after him break downagainst Utah, who is strong in this area. This week the issue is speed. We don't match up with their recievers across the board. The only way this works out is if they are so down they've checked out. UCLA of the past decade was famous for this. Will it happen again? Something tells me Slick Rick was easier to turn off as a player. I don't know enough about the new staff to know if they will do this. I don't think they will

If we were in the BIG XII, I'd say we would still have a solid chance to play in the title game.

Oh well...at least we beat CSU.
