New offer listed on both Rivals and Scout. Kolin (on the right in the photo) and his twin brother Kaleb (profile forthcoming) are both showing offers.

We've beat them for a few, including the last pair of brothers that comes to mind - the Irwins. Gotta think we will improve our record against the like of Boise, and surpass them soon. These guys would be a great start.

Boise State leads. You would have to think they will attend the same school.....

Kolin and Kaleb are "determined" to play together according to scout. So the ND offer might not matter if they don't offer Kaleb

Scout also just added Kaleb and Kolin for 12/6 visitors to CU. Sounds like a big weekend

That was right before the ND offer. Now after
“It’s a big thing,” Kolin said. “I mean, we’d like to play with each other. But if we don’t we’re not gonna be mad at each other or anything. It just is what it is. - See more at: http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1575545#sthash.vyRH9Mgd.dpuf

It's definitely an advantage that we have offered both. We'd love to have both or either. Hopefully they'll visit together and the Irwin brothers can put in a good word for how having that support helps a lot with the college experience of moving from home and having so many demands on your time as a college athlete.

abided by the 24 hour rules, but i'll pass this along now. From UT Rivals. Kolin apparently visited the University that gets the most talent in the world and does nothing with it.

"I just spoke with Schertz Clemens DE/LB Kolin Hill to get his thoughts on his UT visit.

Hill said he really enjoyed the visit. He met with the coaching staff, watched practice and recognized some of the guys he knew growing up, including Erik Huhn.

Texas did not extend a scholarship offer but it sounds like the UT staff is going to talk in the near future and Hill could know something fairly soon on that front. He is still scheduled to visit Colorado on December 6 and Notre Dame on December 13 (both have offered).

Hill said Texas defensive ends coach Oscar Giles told him he's similar to former UT all-American Brian Orakpo, and he sees him playing a similar role where he could line up as both a rush DE and a stand-up outside LB.

"They showed me all the national championships they have in the past, the personal accomplishments by the players," Hill said. "Coach Giles was telling me I remind him a lot of Orakpo when he was a senior in high school. He was telling me I remind him a lot of him."

We'll have a full report from Hill sometime over the weekend."

wut? both of them?

I love hearing these recruiting pitches.

Hopefully Kolin's smart enough to know that if UT legitimately saw him as another Orakpo that he'd have a scholarship offer and it would have been Mack Brown leading the pitch while pulling out all the stops. Doesn't mean they don't like him as a player, but the b.s. detector goes off with that pitch.

repeat, in case someone close to Kolin is reading this....

FWIW Notre Dame landed another DE today. That makes 5 DE's (+2 DT's) and 2 LB's for ND so far
