Raise your hand if you have been to Carthage....I have.
Here ! my whole Dads side of the family is from that part of the "WOODS". Piney Wood Rooters is what we are called from that part of Texas. This kid has grown up in a HOT and Humid area that has no breeze.

If he grew up here, He is a baller.

Interesting that the regional schools such as UL-abcde are in on him (as expected) and two Colorado schools, and now SDSU. Wonder if he's trying to get out west?

Those UL schools are always loaded class after class with WR talent. We need to find sick natural ability talent at WR every class.

According to twitter he might commit Nov 26th. North Texas is "probably" his leader

that would suck. I really think this kid has an upside and want him as a Buff. Some Texas kids are really hard to get out of state, Texas is all they know and are a little scared to explore, just say'n.

Ironic when people should be scared if all they know is Texass.

Even more so for some kids from little East Texas towns...having lived in TX for 11 years, it is a unique place and some just cannot envision being somewhere else and a lesser program in TX trumps a BCS program outside the state. Weird, but true in some instances. Goree is a player IMO, and would love to see him here, but if he wants to stay near home, not much you can do.

I get the whole "Texas pride" thing and all that. But if we really want a player and can't out-recruit North Texas for him, it's a problem. I refuse to excuse that type of loss on the recruiting trail.

You guys have obviously never been to Denton.....

I spent a couple nights there in one of their nicer hotels. I highly recommend it. The mammoth insects indigenous to the area crawling on the walls are a unique opportunity to witness.

Is Denton where the King Ranch is? They have a hell of a slaughter house there.
The King Ranch is south of San Antonio a ways, Denton is basically DFW. I've been to Denton on business, but I couldn't tell ya why Idot loves it so much. To each his own (must be where his mama lives, too).

West of Corpus Christi near Kingsville

Is it like Florida? They call their dinasour sized roaches palmetto bugs.

I saw a sign in North Tx. May have been Dumas. I know KR was big, but not that big.
People get the XIT ranch and the King Ranch confused. XIT was around Dalhart and spanned 3,000,000 acres. King is down by Kingsville, TX.

Dumas, we beat the crap out of those guys. Them and their so called "death trap" defense. Anyway, could it be we just aren't recruiting this guy hard? I see the offer but maybe we cooled on him for whatever reason, idk.
