Clearly, we need to recruit defense.

and offense. Imagine this team without Prich next year. Eeek!

We need defense more. Defense wins championships. Before that it wins games. Winning games gets you better recruits.

Next year could be rough.

We need more athletes across the board. Start in the trenches if we are going to be competitive. Our OL and DL get beat like a red headed step child, unless it's against a green UCLA OL that has 3 frosh on the OL.

This, we are getting dominated up front. doesn't matter what play you call, what defense you call, if you can't compete at the LOS you lose.

We need to start cheating.

If that's what it takes to keep the other team for scoring 40+ I'd say yeah.

If the opposition breaks 40 stick a fork in us.

We need to recruit speed on defense. And size. And an offensive line. And speed on offense. And...

**** it, somebody just tell me what we don't need to recruit...

Mascot, we got that covered...and with that, goodnight, this pretty much sucks all the way around.

40? Looks more like break 24 and stick a fork in us.

I just hope this staff is given more then 2 years to turn it around. It's going to take some time for Mac to get his players in here and be fairly evaluated. Even if we land some great defensive recruits, it's not likely they will be big impact players as freshmen. Know we can get some JC and transfers, but there are likely too many holes to be fixed by going that route.

Going to be difficult to get "his" players here when they see these results each week.

If you take our six Pac-12 games so far, combine our best offensive and defensive efforts with respect to PPG, respectively, we lose 44 to 23. By 21 points.

Despite seeing SOME progress at times this season, the past 7 years have made me such an apathetic fan

The only progress this season is that Paul Richardson isn't injured. Other than that the team has probably gone backward.

This is always the rub. The best players want to go to the best teams. The teams that been losing have a hard time getting the kind of kids who are going to make a difference.

Is M2 the right guy. I don't know, I think he was the best option at the time he was hired and I don't think we are going to get anyone better than him right now.

What he needs to do is give the recruits some reason to believe that better times are on the way. I think that he has started that direction. We have beaten the three teams on our schedule this year that we should have beaten, that didn't happen in past years. We haven't gone out and flat quit like in the past even when getting pounded on. We have eliminated a lot of the stupid stuff that made us look like a joke in past years like failing to get a play called or the right people in the game and lined up.

It is also arguable that outside of PRich, CUD, Hendo, and maybe a couple others our best players this year are young guys that M2 has brought in. We don't have close to enough of them but at least they look like they belong in the PAC which is more than we can say about a lot of the upperclassmen on the team.

As bad as we are I do see reasons for optimism. It is very possible that this is but another trip towards disapointment but I do think we at least owe M2 a chance for a couple years before giving up on him.

Rock bottom called again and wanted to hang out again.

Was watching the speed on the field during the VT-Miami game yesterday. The difference between even a struggling VT team and CU in terms of speed and talent is stark. Hard to fathom at this time that we will ever get to that point again.

While we see good, hopeful moments during games, they just can't string it into any consistency.

Hard to be a CU fan.

Has to be a particularly rough weekend for you when you combine Thursday night's results too. Hope the Broncos can salvage the football watching weekend today.

True. I will say that, in losing, we don't look as bad doing it as we did the previous five seasons. I think we have a good coach. We lack talent unfortunately.
