So ****ing cool!

Ski, XJ and XT went around to hand deliver tix to a bunch of long-time season ticket holders.

Genius!

They had a halftime segment during the women's game just now. They followed those CU players around with a camera as they went to peoples' doors and gave them their season tickets. I guess Tad set that up special for players to do for people who have been season ticket holders the longest.

Yeah. There were lots of posts about it. I think it was in the basketball season tickets thread.

I know the women's team did something cool as well. Linda Lappe called season ticket holders (not sure how many) to thank them. A coworker got a call and he gave her coaching suggestions.

That explains it. I didn't pay much attention to that thread since my tickets were being forwarded to me in the middle of a move from an out of state address.

So bear the **** with me. It was new to me, dammit, and I enjoyed it! :smile2:

Geez. Get with the program nik.

Love that it's being publicized on the conference network. Not sure if other conference foes are doing the same (or something similar), but if not, another Black-n-Gold slap in the face.

Coach Lappe didn't call me, but Lauren Huggins did. I don't usually answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. However, I could tell the call was from CU so I answered it. When Lauren found out I lived in Iowa and we were chatting, it turned in to a speaker phone call with Assistant Coach Kelly Rae, Ashley Wilson and Lexy Kresl also getting on the line. Kelly Rae was telling me about the point guard they had signed. Told Ashley I was sorry I would see the seniors play in person this season.

One of the players asked how long I had been a season ticket holder and when I said I attended the very first game the program ever played in 1975, the response was I wasn't even born then! Thud. Did they really have to remind me that I'm old?
