Anyone hearing anything about the men playing in an early season tournament? It seems some are starting to fill up. Right now Maui, Puerto Rico and the battle 4 Atlantis are full (as well as others could be). Would love a warm weather trip. Cancun perhaps?

Wish we'd get ourselves in one. Facing good competition early on a neutral court can be so valuable. I know we made up for it this year with Baylor and Okie Lite on neutral courts, but there's something great about an 8 team tournament. Would love to return to Maui in coming years now that we're solid or do the Preseason NIT. Charleston was a great experience, I'd enjoy a return there. Maybe we can do Cancun or the Paradise Jam. Anything, Corpus Christi for all I care.

I was at something last year at it sounded like the Diamond Head Classic was on their radar.

No Chance:

Puerto Rico Tipoff: New Mexico, Boston College, College of Charleston, UConn, Dayton, George Mason, Texas A&M, West Virginia (this one has all spots full)
Charleston Classic: South Carolina, Southern California, Miami FL, Cornell, Akron, Penn State (2 open spots, but already has a pac 12 team)
2k Sport Classic: Syracuse, Iowa, Cal, Texas (already has a Pac 12 team)
Maui Invatational: Chaminade,Arizona,BYU,Kansas State,Missouri,Pittsburgh,Purdue,San Diego State (full and Pac12 team)
Battle 4 Atlantis: North Carolina, Georgetown, UCLA, Florida, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, UAB and Butler (full and Pac12 team)

Possibilities:

Paradise Jam (St Thomas)
Coaches versus Cancer Classic (Brooklyn)
Hall of Fame tipoff (Connecticut): Creighton, Florida State, Notre Dame and Massachusetts
Gulf Coast Showcase (Fort Meyers FL)
Legends Classic (South Dakota)
CBE Hall of Fame Classic (Kansas City)
Cancun Challenge (Cancun)
NIT season tipoff (NYC): Georgia
Great Alaska Shootout (Anchorage)
Old Spice Classic (Florida): Kansas, Michigan State and Marquette (WOW great lineup already)
Wooden Legacy (LA)
Corpus Christi Challenge (Corpus Christi, TX)
Barclays Center Classic (Brooklyn)
Las Vegas Invitational (Las Vegas)
Las Vegas Classic (Las Vegas)
Diamonhead Classic (Honolulu)

Old spice would be nice, even if it would hang an early L on the team. That's how everyone will be playing in march, so they'll need to be ready.

I was told a few years ago that we were scheduled for the Diamonhead Classic. I've been planning on attending ever since. A change now would be... disheartening.

If it is there, I owe the wife a trip to the Islands anyway. Hope this is true.
