throw for 500 yds against Auburn in the NCG and win by 21. I am so tired of the SEC and the one good thing about OSU losing to MSU tonight, is that it puts an SEC team in the NCG. When they lose to FSU, maybe we can shut up those rednecks for a while.

Have you been to Tallahassee?

**** the cosmos for putting me in a position to root for FSU. If it wasn't for the SEC thing identified in the OP, I would root for Auburn.

I think the SEC is about to meet their worst nightmare in the championship. A team that has substantial advantage over them in just about every way possible. FSU is freakish.

I sure didn't want Urban Meyer in the championship game. And I would rather see a team that isn't from the SEC win it all

I like FSU in this game. I was looking for a ***** in their armor last night. I didn't see anything, they are good in every area. Winston came out pressing a bit, but that was about it. Their freaking secondary is hands down the best in the country. Their front seven is good too. On offense, it's pick your poison, weapons everywhere.

I don't think they'll have much use for their secondary.

FSU hits people harder than just about any defense I have ever seen. Auburn is going to popped in the mouth. Repeatedly. Hope the SEC is ready for a battle.

I don't have a dog in this fight (don't really care for Free Shoes U or any team in the SEC). But I just have the feeling that this Auburn team is a Team of Destiny, given the way they've won games this year. I wouldn't bet against them (if I were a betting man, that is).

The real source of the SEC pride is regional. So while an FSU beatdown of Auburn will sting, plenty will still claim FSU as a fellow southern school. It's going to take a team from the "North" to really shut them up.

**** ESPN. These guys are in love with the SEC. They are talking up Auburn and seem convinced FSU can't beat them. Not sure what planet they are on.

The SEC is a very good conference, but correct me if I'm wrong, but ESPN has some stakes in that game. As I pointed out frequently last year, an SEC team was propelled to the national championship game on a hype-driven self-fulfilling-prophecy. Auburn looks like a great team, but ESPN is being ESPN.

You will probably get your wish unfortunately.
I am with you. I hate all Florida schools (at least the main ones-FSU, Gators, Miami-less hate for UCF, etc.). But between my hatred for Florida schools and my frustration with the domination of the SEC in the media and the NCG the past decade, I opt for rooting for FSU in this game.

Next year, will be different as hopefully at least 1 or 2 of the schools in the final 4 will not be SEC or Florida teams. Then I will root for one of those, even if it is a CU rival.

I think this could be a very exciting game. I love the matchup and the way both teams play.

It will be the opposite of the LSU/Bama-type games, which is as low as it gets. zzzzzzzzzz

I think FSU would have taken Alabama too. It's gonna be a shoot out. Well, a one team passing one team running shootout. Whatever that's called.
