Join us and your fellow Buff Fans who did not make the trip to Vegas as a pair of 10-1 Top20 teams go head to head. Both teams are 1-1 against the top 20 25 featuring loses on neutral courts. Both teams it goes with out saying also feature exceptional guards, this is not unfairly being billed as Marcus Smart vs Spencer Dinwiddie. Spencer has the length, Marcus the body and the bounce - will it be one of them who decides this game - or will it be the likes of XJ/Scott or OSU senior Markel Brown? Will the fact the Buffs play their Conf. tourney in Vegas factor in settling them down?

Lots of variables in this one that tips at 9.30pm MT

One of the games that cemented CU's ascendance was against Oklahoma State. January 15, 2011. Okie Lite was pretty good. Entered Boulder 13-3 to face a 13-4 CU squad that had started Big XII play by finally (and unexpectedly) beating Missouri and then going and getting that fantastic win on the road against a very good K-State squad. I'll never forget walking into the Keg that day. The atmosphere was unreal. Absolutely raucous. The crowd was over capacity. After years of **** crowds for every Big XII opponent not named Kansas, this was such an eye-opener of how times were changing. Okie Lite came to Boulder 2 days early, this was a road game they believed was winnable and they wanted it badly. They were stunned by the crowd, many players having been to Boulder two years earlier at our lowest of low points. The great thing was CU didn't play well that day. The shots just were not falling, but the Buffs were determined and just weren't going to lose, overcoming a 12 point defecit in the second half. Ground out a 75-71 win, adding yet another solid win to what was quickly becoming a Big Dance-caliber resume. This game was textbook Tad ball.

We can play with and beat Oklahoma State. A loss is by no means the end of the world, but this is a chance to take this program to heights we've barely (and possibly never) been to in the modern era. Golden opportunity. Who wants this more? An Okie Lite squad that might be reading their press clippings, or a CU program hungry to establish itself as a top 20 program? Hope to see a hungry Buff squad tomorrow. We might play very well and still lose, but there is no reason to be intimidated by Oklahoma State. They've got two fantastic players, but there are things we can take advantage of. Hope to see Tad coach circles around Ford. Win or lose, games like this pay dividends for conference play and tournament time. But let's win.

The line opened at 6 and is at 5.5 this morning. The allbuffs contingent must have placed their wagers.

Bailer, KU, Ok lite..... that's the cream of the Texas12....

Wish I could have made it out there. Lets go Buffs !!

Not a peep about this game in today's ****ing denver post.

I assume that someone left some DP sections lying around the coffee shop you stopped into this morning. Because I know that no one from Allbuffs would pay money for that fish wrap.

Nope. Read the post while mooching a cup of coffee from my neighbor this morning. Took 3 minutes to read her 4 page sports section.

Except for DBT
 As a matter of fact, I'm using it to clean glass. It's great for that. Yep, I'm preparing to write them a letter explaining why I won't renew when my subscription comes up. Not a single mention on today's game. It is an insult and another example of how lazy they and our illustrious beat writer are. Ridiculous.

Oh c'mon DBT. You don't seriously expect the DP to preview a CU BB game when there's a Broncos game tomorrow, do you? Where would they find the space?

Just curious ... how many Broncos articles were there in today's paper? I'm guessing at least three.

Depends on which sock Peyton puts on first before practice on Thursday. Need to make sure Broncos fans have all the important information.

And a Ram bowl game today!!!

I was at that game. After going regularly since '09, I was never more convinced that this program was going to erupt than that day. Incredible feeling. Thanks for the reminder.

Gotta like Mizzou, Gonzaga, and Umass losing to unranked teams. Really increases odds of Buffs staying ranked regardless of W/L. The +7 spread to the Buffs seems inflated by OK St's star power. Could easily argue Buffs have slight edge considering venue, resume-to-date, and late start time. This game doesn't get going until 10:30 CST.

I hope to be awake. Good thing bball games are a shot of adrenaline. Or maybe that is the alcohol.

As an east coaster, 10:30 doesn't sound so late. Honestly, don't mind the 11:30 start.

Watching this UNM-Marquette game the OSU fans are sitting behind the Marquette bench. It looks lime our fans will be directly across from where the UNM bench and fans are

I had a recipe underway for dinner when I realized I needed a cup of wine that I didn't have. I ran to the store and somehow that bottle is now nearly empty. Go figure. I still have a six-pack that has been chilling for a week dedicated to the game. Bottle one opens at tipoff. And (seriously) I haven't had a drink since Thanksgiving.

At least Marquette - UNM doesn't look headed to OT. I shouldn't have said that, should I.

Dammit.

Wisconsin just forced a 4th set in the WVOL championship on ESPN2.

What channel are they starting our game on? The volleyball won't be done in time.
