i'm in a college fantasy basketball league and went to pick up Josh Scott at the 5. our commissioner is telling me he is a PF. dude is clearly a Center, right? figured you all would be the best people to clear this up.

I know one person who does fantasy college fb... is there any software programs for fantasy college bb or do you have to create your own?

We do not play a "5."

We play a 3 gaurd set with 2 forwards sometimes, other times we play 4 guards and 1 forward, but occasionally we play 3 forwards and 2 gaurds - or on rare awesome occasions we put everyone who is some for of ~6'6" combo guard/forward on the floor at once.

If he's not a Center, then CU doesn't have a Center.

He clearly plays the post and guards the opposing Center.

If you fit CU's starting lineup into traditional positions:

Center: Josh Scott
Forwards: Wes Gordon, Xavier Johnson
Guards: Spencer Dinwiddie, Askia Booker

For fantasy purposes, he should be grouped with the Centers.

Eh PF vs C is so much about what your team composition is anymore. On our team, he is without a doubt our center. Duncan is a C by almost every definition, but he's played alongside Robinson and other C's so much that he's logged as a PF everywhere. Is Anthony Davis a PF? When he plays next to Ryan Anderson, he's their C, but anytime else, he plays the 4.

If Scott were a couple inches taller, it wouldn't even be a question. I'd definitely argue that he should be C eligible in a fantasy league.

FanDuel is a pretty good daily fantasy site. They have College BB as well as everything. Pay within 24-48 hrs if you have PayPal, otherwise they send checks.

You could show him Josh Scott's Rivals/Scout rankings. Pretty sure he's listed as a Center. Honestly, a college bb fantasy league should just be split into forwards and guards. Anything more defined is not representative of the college game.

That’s good to know its back, a couple years ago I had a fantasy college basketball league, but then they didn’t have it the next year, I was pretty disappointed.

BTW, I found it to be one of the more enjoyable leagues to be a part of. NFL and MLB leagues are so over analyzed, you don’t really have to pay attention, just take what they recommend. NCAA Basketball, may be well analyzed for overall teams, but to guess when a 19 year old kid is going to have a good game vs a bad one is pretty hard.

You forgot our most famous set: The Tidy Whities. All the white guys from the end of the bench on the court at the same time. I think that one is a Center and 4 Guards.

With Brady injured it has become: The King and his 4 aces.
