That FauxPelini guy may be on to something. What is it with Bo and cats?

Represents the normal quality of their OOC opponents that they are getting ready for.

Wish I had some farking skills, that picture is just asking for it.

They were all kind of smirking (in that classy husker way). It makes me wonder if Bo told them he'd bring out the cat until they stopped playing like pussies.

I think it was funny. Take a joke on the internet and have fun with it. Cat had to be drugged to not freak out though. Maybe Carl was visiting.

Oh, I think it was funny. But is lighthearted the tone that Bo wants to set?

You can eat grass if you win national championships.

But I'd argue that if you underperform to fan's expectations and then disrespect the most holier-than-thou of all fanbases, it might be prudent to avoid goofy antics.

Well, it definitely made headlines and got attention and maybe that was the point?

Or maybe he just wants to burnish his reputation a little bit to be more "fun loving" to recruits? I don't know that much about Bo, but he's always struck me as something of a hardass that I wouldn't be that eager to play for.

Playing for a hardass coach would be okay...playing for a dick like Bo would be something else...wouldn't want anyone I know playing for him

FauxPelini and Bo are just having some fun. The Nebraska Coaches, Athletic Department and players are have bought in and are just having some fun with it all.

Follow the links from HuskerMax to see more of what it is all about. It's been good for the program and has provided some good pub during the off season.

How is that fun? Cats suck. There's no way I'd ever let my kid play for a coach who holds a cat up like that. WTF?

I'm not going to click on that link but I'm not sure how anyone can say it's been good for the program. Just call it what it is. Creepy and weird. And move on.

One of my staffers is a husker fan (but KU grad--I don't get it) and he thought it was a slick move on Bo's part. He embraced the jokes and demonstrated he had a sense of humor, apparently. Good work, Bo.

Bo Pelini's publicist is a smart man.
